     Well, everyone, there are only 42 shopping days left before Christmas.  Thanks to 3 significant pickups we did in October, we are very pleased to offer you a great variety of items that will entice you either for yourself or for holiday gifts.  We have picked up so much, we have not had space to open all the boxes yet, although we are again opening half of our second showroom for this sale.

     For jewelry, we have added FINE turquoise/silver pendants/earrings/ring, also a 14K yellow gold necklace and 18K gold necklace with diamonds.  Enjoy looking over the 8 Nepalese pendants in turquoise/coral, gemstones.  If you are going to splurge on yourself, you may wish to own a REAL Prada or Louis Vuitton handbag (or at least a change purse).  For men, we have a large selection of size L suits, dress and casual shirts, FINE sweaters, size 10-1/2 dress and casual shoes.  Where are you going to store these items?  We have vintage and new small boxes, chests, cabinets, also a Chinese carved teak/camphor chest.  If space is a problem in your home, contemplate the small dropfront writing cabinet or Asian black lacquer-style cabinet.  If space is not a problem, treat yourself to a repro British oak cabinet with glazed doors to show off some of your collections.

     For stocking fillers, you may wish to purchase an 1880 silver dollar or other silver coins we just received, small vintage plastic toys including drink bottles, RARE salt/pepper shakers styled as Mr. Peanut and the RCA Victor listening dog, miniature "dream hoops", vintage metal cookie cutters.  Slightly more expensive will be Zuni carved stone fetishes/animals, mammoth ivory animals, Lalique jewelry tray with swan.  Consider the rooms or hallways that are dark in your home.  We just received a good variety of mirrors and table lamps, also a vintage 3-pod gooseneck floor lamp.  To add color and interest, how about one of the several colored glass vases that we just received or massive textured pottery?  A prime piece of interesting fine art you will see is a large abstract animal figure in clay by Cathy Read.  We also offer you smaller vases, pots, vessels by her.

     We have some FINE sterling silver for you:  Tiffany serving fork, small round bowl, Gorham flatware set, miscellaneous sterling serving flatware.  These may look well on a variety of table linens we just received including leopard image place mats or beside the Noritake oxblood/gilt dinnerware we just put out on another dropleaf table, all these new to this sale.  You may prefer the period oil lamp with milkglass shade or small 3-drawer antique chest with newly replaced marble top.  Think also mantle clocks to add character, plus a nice chiming sound, to your home.  We have added a tall case clock with great chimes on the showroom floor along and 3 more mantle clocks.

     Of collector interest for vintage toys/dolls, you will find early 20th century wood horse cart, clown, stuffed cat, Barbies with cases of clothes, miniature furniture, miniature eating ware, Kewpie dolls and glass bell, Steiff dog, Wizard of Oz characters.  A RARITY is the doll stroller in FINE condition, followed by the wicker perambulator and bassinet.  The tall showcase in our entry room holds the hat pin collection we just received as well as a FINE RARE set of 2 photo albums (1890s-1910s).For collectors of old cookware we have a #2 crock, smaller jars, wood spatulas, a glass milk bottle with original paper cap.  For knife collectors, we have just added a samurai sword with intact menuki and Malaysian knife with elaborately carved handle and sheath, also a Finnish knife in leather sheath.   We just put out 2 vintage weigh scales, set of graduated weights, and lithographed storage tins.  You will find the sitting dog and pigs cement statues near the 4-poster bed that is overloaded with textiles.

     We are continuing our offering of British royalty memorabilia, having just unpacked an amethyst crystal goblet with jasperware portrait of the queen, matched pair of signed photos of the queen and prince, silverplate biscuit tray.  As you buy these, we will have more space to unpack even more.  We have approx 120 CDs and 40 DVDs to our display shelves of 1,000+ DVDs.  DVDs are not offered at increased discount over last month.

       Reserve the dates of 03-04 December for our Christmas extravaganza showroom sale. That is when we will put up the artificial trees and get out all the holiday decorations and ornaments we have collect throughout the year.  Be sure to invite your friends and neighbors who ordinarily do not go to estate sales to come for a great time.
