Welcome to the first of two Christmas sales, this one in November, second one at same address in December.  These are in our SHOWROOM #3 at 4760 Stamp Road (just up the road from our Showrooms #1& #2).  All of the Christmas holiday items we have accumulated throughout the year from clients are for sale now.  You will enjoy discovering them all over the two floors of our showroom mixed in with or sitting on top of furnishings.  My workers have thoroughly enjoyed unboxing items and setting up for this sale, especially filling bowls, teacups, goblets with colored glass ornaments.  We have set up three table especially to accommodate the many items we have to show.  In addition, we can offer you wheel chair access to the first floor because there is an outside ramp that mounts to our front door.

For many of you, on top of your list are White House Christmas ornaments.  We have over 30 this year, coming from four clients.  Bring your list with you of what you have already. They are $12 each and will sell out quickly.  We set a record this year with Christmas/holiday CDs -- over 100 of them which we have grouped on two shelves near the Franklin Stove-style heater we have for sale, topped by an electric Santa holding lighted candle and next to a shorter Mrs. Claus holding candle.  Another lighted item is the winter scene of birds in trees.  You will find literally basket upon basket of colored glass ornaments, some vintage like the glass French horns and fruit.  The imitation wrapped candy ornaments are on a clear glass footed stand.  Angels are everywhere but are outnumbered by the nutcrackers that we received from three clients.  Garlands are hung everywhere on our two floors.  Look for the large elves upstairs and the smaller elves sitting on tops of furniture.

You will enjoy seeing the small lighted tree (for sale) as soon as you come in the door.  On a lowboy to the left of it my workers have put a wood manger and added to it a nativity of cats (you cat lovers will love this).  Beside it is a small vintage Christmas tree with candles and an 18"h green glass tree covered in snow.  A pair of clear glass angels flank a clear glass cylinder of ornaments on the low square Chinese rosewood table there.  Look for the gingerbread boy ornament on the tray with the silver service and the tall thin carolers in front of the Victorian mantle clock.  The handpainted felt faced figures are in 4 different places, so search them out.  Holiday hand towels and cookie dishes are on tables and shelves.  Look for the vintage plastic Santa, snowmen, and reindeer.  Perhaps the most beautiful new holiday items we have are two pairs of tall slender white deer.  They will make a wonderful table centerpiece for you.  For you motorcycle enthusiasts, look for the Santa on a red motorcycle.  We also have the small Christmas ornament earrings and one Goebel Hummel boy on sled for sale.

So, what is on your Christmas shopping lists?  Remember that as of Saturday there are only 37 shopping days left before Christmas.  Who wants a telescope? Who wants an electronic keyboard?  We have both for you.  Maybe two of you will treat each other to an antique or vintage chest of drawers, a set of china (we have put out a holiday dinnerware set on an antique double dropleaf cherry table), a rug.  At this sale, you will find a good selection of all of these.  Very inviting is the marquetry chess/checker table with vintage chess pieces and two round stools.  We have also unboxes 3 boxes of vintage dominoes.  For winter days, you may enjoy the games, including wood ones that are upstairs, or used books.  Baseball enthusiasts will enjoy the sports figures and cards on the second floor.

We have been accumulating more Asian items. They include a chest-on-chest tansu, Imari and Satsuma, a pair of tall brass Asian-style table lamps.  Beside the tansu we have added two black Asian-style chests of different sizes.  Many of the Asian ceramics we removed from our sale at Porto Vecchio are here and now discounted 50%.  So, if you have been eyeing them, this is your opportunity to purchase them at significant discount.  Note especially the 18"d blue-on-white handpainted charger and the double gourd-style teapot.  Look for the two Asian red silk robes, one with elaborate embroidery.  I have just had electric outlets added on the left wall of both floors, so we are now able to light the variety of table lamps for you. They include electrified oil lamps with glass shades, vintage Art Studio ceramic, two vintage Asian, and one brass candlestick-style.

Can you help us identify the maker of the early 20th century gray ceramic pigeon-form bookends marked "JF" (with shared vertical stroke) within diamond?  Other unique items of special interest to a collector are the antique cast bronze bell, the antique round brass heater with handles.  After you put hot coals in it, you can carry it to put under a blanket wrapped around your feet.  The blue/clear swirl glass shaker is a fine and rare item as is the tall/narrow ceramic stein.  You will find a set of 4 seasonal motif steins on a shelf on the right in the large first floor showroom.  Upstairs you will find vintage blue/white enamel cooking utensils as well as two chambersticks (RARE!) and a small collection of molded pink glass dinnerware.

The largest of the four dining tables we have set up on the second floor can seat 14 people in matching chairs or be reduced in size to accommodate just four people.  This dining set comes to us from a retired Congresswoman.  So has the tall 2-door armoire which she had fitted with file drawers.  We have 6 sets of dining chairs available as well as 2 antique dropleaf tables, 2 Queen Anne-style dining tables.  In addition, you will find many individual chairs, some Victorian, some vintage, that may serve you well in one of your rooms at home.  A pair of diminutive Pembroke tables (dropleaf top / single drawer) may fit your design scheme and needs or a round tilt-top table.  We just added an antique mahogany serving cabinet and another traveling trunk with arched top.  The cabinet is topped by a pair of red-flashed lustres and a pair of FINE pink floral plates.

To celebrate the opening of our Showroom #3 and the holiday spirit, we will plan to serve apple cider and eats, as long as they last.  It would be great if you brought some some to add to the holiday table (currently under a holiday plaid tablecloth over a custom-made red oak dining table -- for sale).  At any rate, come for a grand time and enjoy perusing all the items.  Remember that you can use Bungii (put the app on your celtel) to have items delivered to you the same day.  We now have 14 highly satisfied clients who have used Bungii, happy with the moderate deliver price and careful handling of their purchases.

Don't forget to buy one of the red/white Christmas hats to wear or one of the diverse size/color/style Christmas stockings, including small ones for your pet cat or dog.  We also have pretied red ribbon bows for sale but only one box of Christmas cards this year.  If you live in an apartment or have a small room, you might go home with miniature electric fireplace to add charm and warmth this winter.  If you are going to entertain big-time for the holidays, we have many silverplate champagne buckets, pitchers, and serving trays.
