Items of Value

     Welcome to our huge Christmas sale in our Showroom #3 at 4760 Stamp Road.  For this sale we have put out all of the Christmas items we have accumulated throughout the year.  When you enter, you will see a lighted decorated tree for sale.  You can also buy the wreath hanging on the inside of the front door.  The second "room" section has shelves and tables of Christmas items.  They include over 30 White House Christmas ornaments (we just received 4 more this week), over 40 holiday music CDs, holiday towels and plates, angels, Santas, snowmen, and over 30 nutcrackers that we received from 3 clients.  We have two sturdy tree stands/containers for you to secure your large live tree in, also vintage plastic electric candles.  You will find baskets of ornaments all around.  They include 1930s glass ornaments and celluloid Santa/Snowman/Caroler ornaments.  My workers thoroughly enjoyed decorating both floors with garlands and holiday figures.  Be sure to take time discovering Christmas items on the second floor as well. A pair of 28" high fabric children in winter attire will greet you as you enter the second room on the second floor.   Note that we have wheel chair access via an outside ramp to the first floor.

     Those of you who came to our Showroom #3 sale last month will note many changes.  Since we sold the rug in the entry area, we have put down another rug, this one a brown/black Causcasian one approximately 9' x 12'.  In place of the 2 framed hummingbird prints, we have hung a large framed painting of a vase of flowers.  More objects have been added to the shelves.  On the right side of our first floor main room, you will find many items along the 80' of shelving. The gun rack there is for sale (comes with working keys), also the oak hutch.  About halfway down on the left, you will see the color provided by the pair of cranberry glass lustres.  We also have a pair of vintage cranberry glass table lamps for sale.  They have "ruby red-cut-to-clear" fonts, ready for your choice of new shades.  If you like the winter theme dinnerware we have put out on the custom-made oak dining table, we will box it for you so that you can have it in time for holiday eating.  We also have silverplate serving trays, champage buckets, and water pitchers that you may need for entertaining.

     Since we sold the rug that was in the entry area last month, we have put down a Caucasian rug, approximately 9'x12', that displays designs in brown and black.  We put down another smaller Caucasian rug farther on that has bright blues and reds.  You might bring with you dimensions of rugs that you are looking for.  We have put out over 30 rugs so far on the 2 floors.  Also look at the individual pieces of furniture.  The circa 1930s Chippendale-style piecrust rim table is in fact a bird cage tilt-top (a style from the 18th century).  The antique Virginia corner cabinet was reportedly purchased in Maryland and dates from the late 18th to early 19th century.  We have put a collection of handpainted blue-on-white china inside.  Feel free to open the cabinet doors to select among the pieces.  Two felt elves sit on top of it, also for sale.

     The wood marquetry game table, with or without the 2 stools we mated with it, may look splendid in your house or apartment.  To go with it we have 3 sets of chess pieces, also 4 boxes of vintage dominoes.  When is the last time you played with dominoes?  In that same area, you will discover glass Christmas ornaments as well as Christmas decorations that my worked enjoyed putting out everywhere for this sale.  They have assembled African wood carved figures on a table nearby, well lighted by 2 table lamps there.  If you like the table lamps styled as brass candlesticks, we have a few for you to select from.  Consider also the pair of tall brass Asian lamps on top of the Japanese tansu.

     Two vintage chests of drawers on the second floor have been nicely refinished, so are clean and ready to go if you need one.  This week we added a lighted display cabinet with bottom cupboard that may suit you to display items you already have.  Any of you who may have spent time in Berlin will be intrigued by the custom-made coffee table with marquetry emblem on the second floor.  Also there you will find an electric piano so that you can play holiday music you enjoy.  Perhaps you will decide to take lessons or teach yourself how to play through on-line lessons.  If you want to look for Santa in his sleigh in the night sky, a telescope is waiting for you on the second floor.  It is in the second room there that we have put more CDs, DVDs, and books.  Surely you will find something to your delight to read or listen to.  Enjoy browsing through the photos we have posted for this sale to see the variety of what we have to offer.

      Because we have so much more being delivered to us or that we are going to pick up, we are discounting all of the furniture and framed artwork at this sale by 50%.  Bring dimensions with you of furniture and rugs you may be looking for.  Many of the other items are also discounted 50% for this sale.  So, come for a good time.  Also anticipate a good time at the 2 other sales we have lined up for December.
