Description & Details

Spring has sprung. Take a break from yard work to come enjoy this showroom sale. My employees and I have been polishing sterling silver, sorting and tagging jewelry, filling yet two more showcases (now we have five showcases out), and opening more boxes to discover contents that have been boxed up for six years. We have sorted costume jewelry by type (necklaces, brooches, pendants, bracelets, earrings) and put them into open plastic boxes for you to go through. We have out yet another container of wristwatches.

You will discover FINE jewelry ($42-$494) in the showcases, new to this sale. You will discover antique sterling flatware, ranging 1790s-1890s. Other antique silver is German/Austrian, of 800 grade silver. We have a few more small sterling silver bowls as well.

We have assessed what we have in the way of dinnerware sets. We are offering these at half of the marked price at this sale. Dinnerware, both large and partial sets, include "blue onion" pattern, Johann Haviland Bavarian white with gilt rim, Noritake "Tranquil Glen" 8 dinner plates, "Southhampton" white floral with silvertone rim, yellow/white peonies pattern by LingLing, Noritake "Tuscan" with gilt rim, Adderley "Novas Scotia Tartan" cups/saucers/creamers/sugar bowl, "Hamilton" by Mikasa, "Grantham" by Royal Doulton, "Saybrook" by Haviland, "Arcadia Gold" by Franciscan, "Old Chelsea" by Wedgwood, Chinese "rice" pattern with lithophane design, "Ambassador" made in Indonesia, rose and daisy pattern by Tirschenreuth, "Bristol Garden" by Royal Cauldon, "Luxembourg" by Villeroy and Bach, "Annapolis Blue" by Lenox, "Rosita" by Hutschenreuther. After we had unboxed the traditional blue/white annual Christmas plates by Bing & Grondal, one of my workers found yet another box of more. So sometimes we have two for each year. The Christmas plates range 1960s-1970s. We also have a few Bing & Grondal New Year's plates and one Mother's Day plate. We are offering these at half of asking price on ebay. We have the inventory list ready for you.

At this sale we are offering all of the remaining furniture at half of tagged price (except one antique carved oak open armchair). These items include FINE Thai rosewood and Pakistani rosewood with brass inlay, antique Pembroke table, 4 antique handcaned tiger maple side chairs, three antique chests, period Mission Oak diminutive sofa/settee, 1790s French pine armoire, 1990s reproduction French armoire in cherry. The remaining wonderful pieces of Thai ceramics and bronze we are also offering at half price. After this sale, we will list them on ebay.

We select one large framed artwork to highlight at each sale. For this sale we have selected a fine lithograph by K. Rasmullen titled "Day by Night", dated 1979, thus 45 years old, well framed and in fine condition. We have removed all of the winter theme artwork and mirrors that we offered from December through February and have hung other framed pieces in their places. We have also decided for this sale to focus your attention on two groups of collector items. First is beer drinking steins and glasses, almost all from Germany 1960-70s. They fill three shelves in the left showroom. Second is vintage coin banks, of which we have 27. They are quite varied and overflow two glass shelves in the right showroom.

Look forward to another good time at this sale. Take time to enjoy being at our showroom perusing the hundreds of items we have displayed on shelves and in display cabinets. We just opened and filled two more lighted display cabinets. As soon as we sell items, this gives us space to bring out more. For this sale, we have added about 40 more books, 19 more DVDs, 33 more CDs (German, classical, vintage jazz, modern pop).
