The lady was an avid collector of country antiques – most of which are in old painted surface. There are a number of document and pantry boxes of extraordinary quality in this sale. In addition, we will be selling the contents of an old Down East homestead from Calais, Maine. This was a multi-generational home full of Victorian antiques, military accessories – muskets, etc. and carved Victorian furniture. From an Old Lyme Connecticut estate, we acquired the remaining collection of Paul Vargo carvings and sporting items. He was an avid naturalist who carved birds and wild life. There will be additions from an old Lawrence Mass estate. This promises to be a fun sale that you won't want to miss. Over 250 lots.
