All items sold as is, where is, regardless of any description, either written or verbal by the auction company and its staff, and without recourse, unless specifically stated by the auctioneer at the time of the auction.

Disclaimer for this auction: Firearms produced after 1898 have to be sold through an FFL dealer. We are working with Ship Happens (231 Main Street in Norway, ME). All firearms requiring a background check will be transported to Ship Happens by the auctioneer after the auction. There will be a $25 fee for the background check (payable to Ship Happens). If you win the bid for a firearm, you must pay Paris Auction House for it (hammer price, buyer?s premium, and sales tax). Then you must bring a copy of your paid invoice to Ship Happens, pay them for the background check, and, once you pass, you can take possession of your firearm. If you are an online bidder who wins the bid and must have your firearms shipped, it must be shipped to a firearms dealer with a current FFL. After you have paid Paris Auction House (hammer price, buyer?s premium, and sales tax), you must contact Ship Happens to complete your purchase. They will walk you through the details of having your firearm shipped. You will pay them for any shipping fees and your FFL dealer for the background check. Should any bidder refuse to pay any fees from Ship Happens, you forfeit your purchase and will not be refunded.

18% Buyers Premium for all online sales. 3% discount on the Buyer's Premium if you pay by cash or check when you pick up your purchase.

This auction will be conducted both online and in person. Absentee bids are accepted. Any bids from any of these other sources will be represented as "floor" or "onsite" bids on this platform.

Listings are subject to error, omission or changes (prior to the start of the auction). This includes, but is not limited to, online photos and descriptions.

Paris Auction House follows all federal & state (Maine) laws pertaining to auctions.

All online bids require a bidder's paddle number which, in turn, requires registering on Live Auctioneers with a full name, address, phone number, and credit card information.

In the case of a disputed bid the auctioneer may decide to reopen the bid or to leave as is. The auctioneer's decision is final on disputed bids. If there is a tie bid between the floor and Internet or absentee bid, the floor bid takes precedence.

Maine state residents will be charged 5.5% state sales tax unless we have a valid Resale Certificate on file with Live Auctioneers or Paris Auction House. New customers must bring us a copy of your tax exemption certificate for our files.
