The family, in discovering more treasures that needed to be included in the sale asked us to postpone till this weekend - but it was worth the wait!

The discoveries include beautiful items from Israel, gorgeous one of a kind pieces, vintage toys and sports memorabilia, a huge cache of vintage cameras and dark room equipment.....great Mid Century Modern Lamps and smalls.... Costume Jewelry....Semi Precious Jewelry...and more!

Plus the family just added a low mileage, lovingly cared for vintage Mercedes  Benz 1973 280C!!

Walk up to the front door of this lovely home and the wrought iron plant stands, pots and outdoor decor items will be there to greet you!

Upon entering the home, you will see a stunning Mid Century Mirror hovering over a beautiful Cherry wood Table with pull out side trays displaying some lovely pieces.

To your left is a stately Grandfather Clock and as you enter the living room, you will  find a pair of vintage easy chairs & a beautiful Antique couch and petite oval coffee table forming a conversation group. and a lovely Secretary filled with beautiful Antique & Vintage Porcelain.  The lamps dotting the room are striking and there are Vintage and Antique Crystal pieces displayed throughout the room, as well as lovely prints, original paintings and lithographs.   Turn right into the gorgeous dining room where a pristine Duncan Phyfe Dining Set awaits, with a matching Buffet and Small cabinet on either side.  A butler's tray table holds a variety of Crystal and Silver plate Serving pieces as do the table and Ethan Allen China Cabinet at the back. 

That cabinet is also home to our collection of Lladro's (sorry - no boxes).....and beautiful crystal items.

Turn right and you can either head into the abundantly stocked kitchen filled with current & Mid Century Modern gadgets and china or make a sharp left down the hall to the first level master suite.  Down that hallway you can shop for casual linens, general household goods housed in the bookcases (that are also for sale) on the left...enter a spacious closet that is home to the fine linens, custom draperies and kitchen overflow! 

Proceed a bit further toward the majestic master suite, and you will find a closet on your right full of Clothing, Shoes and outerwear for the ladies in your life in sizes for medium & large ladies.   Continue into the Master Suite where there is a rack brimming with  Vintage Clothing and Furs, costume jewelry, gloves, scarves and accessories to choose from!

The furnishings in this lovely room are simply stunning - handcarved and made in the early 1900's by R Way Northern...and in perfect condition.  The Queen Size bed you see was custom made from the two twins that back in the day "proper" married people slept in!. There is a beautiful carved mirror and dresser, high boy and matching end tables.  There is also a vintage Art Nouveau style Vanity and a collection of great beautiful porcelain pieces from France, Japan and around the world and more in this lovely room - so plan on taking time to shop!

A stunning Inuit Painting hangs above the bed and in a departure from the norm...a student desk/cabinet holds a TV, stationary and office items. 

The Master Bath holds a variety of items for our seniors including a walker, rollater, bath chairs and senior needs as well as basic bath and a collection of books on health and well being.

The kitchen is simply amazing and packed - both with Current and Mid Century Modern dinner, small appliances and serving ware...over 100 cookbooks - both old and new....and is anchored by a fabulous Mid Century Modern Dining Set by Richard McCarthy for Selrite in Iron, Formica, Vinyl and Wood!  This set is simply amazing!

Go through the archway into the amazing library where matching pale beige loveseat and sofa sit across from each other with a stunning Mid Century Modern Chrome and Black Square Coffee Table...and lined with a Mid Century Modern metal and wood shelving system (available for sale - but for removal after the estate sale is completed).  The shelves of this great room are filled with great book collections, including sections on Medicine, psychiatry and psychology, vintage History books and novels, current novels, a lovely collection of books on Art and a huge collection spanning over 100 years of books on Judaism,the life and history of the Jewish people and more.  Most of the art and many of the collectibles in this room reflects Jewish Culture and History as well.   There are great vintage home decor and accent pieces scattered throughout the room and on the shelves, easy chairs or recliners  near the book collections, a stunning stone globe on a brass base, and a unique display of featuring an Antique Doctor's medicine bag, medical supplies and office supplies tucked near the doorwall. 

The doorwall leads outside to our tented collection of storage shelving, outdoor patio set, pet supplies, a collection of golf clubs and accessories, tennis & raquetball raquets, croquet and badmittan sets, stackable patio chairs, a white mesh patio table and "garage items" that overflow from the garage.

Down the hallway toward the garag filled with household supplies is a spacious laundry room filled with vintage rag rugs, laundry items and more, and a small powder room holds bath items as well.

The garage holds the appliances that are for sale including a washer & dryer, and a ready to install double oven, a matching cooktop, card tables, chairs, fishing tackle & poles, other items and our client's cherished 1976 Mercedes 280C!

For you Audiophiles, the basement is filled with Audio equipment including a mixing board, vintage Fisher speakers, a vintage reel to reel pro recording board, a drum machine, loads of vintage audio..including the following:

.Fisher XP-7B

c.1970/1971. In good condition.  5 speaker four-way system, featuring  two mid-range drivers for upper and lower midrange respectively. Can generate  a frequency response of  30-20,000 cps.

Most Fisher models are criticized for being too heavy in the midrange.  The XP-7B, however, shows no such weaknesses. In fact, they were heavily praised in 1971,winning high-level ratings.

 Tascam Portastudio 424 MKII:
c. 1990s.

Condition:  New In Box!

A lot of brands and/or companies have come and gone in the multitrack recording business, but Tascam still remains strong with its Portastudios. The 424 MKII features a more or less standardized layout with an almost equal divide. Mixing controls are on the left , complete with 4 fully-featured mono channels and an added bonus of 2 stereo channels. On the left is the cassette door, associated transport controls and a reasonably large, bright display. Tascam outfitted the rear panel with a pair of Sub in sockets to receive signals from an external mixer, thereby creating an easy integration with a sequencing setup.

The Mid Century Modern Den hosts a great Black Plaid Sofa Sleeper, MCM End Table, Pole Lamp, Fabulous Table Lighting, 2 great Black Cabinets and is home to a fantastic collection of Vintage Cameras, lenses, flashes and Camcorders, Dark Room Equipment, a great collection of Vintage Clock Radios, Travel Books, maps and brochures - and art reflecting this family's love of travel!

The upstairs Master Suite is home to a stunning Mahogany Bedroom Set with Oriental Detailed Nighstands, a gorgeous bed and dresser and beautiful easy chair, a large area rug and is home to our Vintage collection of Mens Apparel, luggage, watches and more!  This dapper gentleman has great items for hipsters including a great selection of hats & fedoras and a great Funky 1970's Leather Coat!  A classic Secretary anchors one wall and the room is filled with unexpected treasures - great lamps, Depression Glass, mens accessories and more!
