Amazing Art Filled Home in Bloomfield Hills

This is absolutely, the most incredible sale I have ever worked on!  My client and her late husband were avid art collectors, knowing many of the artists on a personal basis.  Their collection is an eclectic mix of many genres of art, from incredible pieces from China, Thailand, Vietnam & Japan, to Oils, Watercolors and pottery by renowned artists from all over the world.   In addition to the fabulous art work at this sale, there is a plethora of fabulous artifacts from their many travels all over the world.

To me, the most awesome part of their collection is the huge piece of marble standing outside their front door.  Back in the mid 90's, they went to Taiwan to visit their son who was going to school there.   There son went up to the top of the mountains in Taiwan, where they cut marble from the sides of the mountains. He picked out this piece for his folks, and it was brought down the mountain, polished and fitted with it's own custom ironwood stand, and from there made it's way back to their home in Michigan.  The marble is so intricately patterned it looks like a painting in itself.  Whoever is lucky enough to acquire this amazing piece will have something, that I venture to guess, very few people in this country can lay claim to owning.

My clients husband was a very renowned psychiatrist, and his collection of books is amazing, including every psychological disorder know to mankind!  They also entertained a great deal, and there's dinnerware for up to 32 people, along with crystal from Lenox and any and everything you could possibly need to set up an awesome party.
