Poiema on Burt Lake for Labor Day Weekend!

Poiema has the privilege of liquidating the curated collection of a longtime antique collecting couple in a 4,000 square foot home on beautiful Burt Lake. This is worth the drive! Sign in sheet is out at 8:00 so you can go into Alanson for a coffee shop and bakery that is to die for (and it has great gluten free on the menu). Then join us in the home for a whole household of new, vintage and antique finds. Need household items? They are abundant throughout the home. The garage will uncover a Husqvarna lawn tractor, a vintage Schwinn, other bicycles, a kayak, power and hand tools, lawn and garden, etc. Outside there is a vintage set of outdoor furniture, live plants and planters. Inside household includes kitchen, linens, bath and health, clothing, decor, books, more plants and planters. Then there is the collection to appreciate. Photos do not do justice, nor do words, but here is a partial list; 19th and 20th century furniture including chairs, tables, desks, beds, accent pieces, couches, trunks and shelves. In addition, wall art of various ages and styles, decor items including statuary, mirrors, lamps, primitives, asian, trays, vases, wall hangings, etc. There will also be a variety of smaller decorative items (we saw inkwells, miniature statuary, boxes, trays, clocks, etc.). This is the sale of the year to discover and own fine items, or just to stock up on the essentials.
