Two Sister’s Byron Farmhouse Estate Sale

Last sale of the Year!

HALF PRICE SATURDAY!!!!! Oct 7th 9-3

You will enter the house at the second door on the side which leads you right into the KITCHEN! The kitchen is full of good usable kitchenware, AND Pyrex, Vintage figural cookie jars, blue canning jars, Pampered Chef, Corning-ware, Corelle, canning supplies, and yes, even a cupboard full of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter items!

Before you head for the rest of the house, check out the LAUNDRY ROOM on your left.  It is full of house hold products at Mega savings prices, as well as a nice little chest freezer, vacuums, and more!

Back out through the kitchen you will walk into the DINING ROOM and there you will see the Awesome Costume Jewelry table, and it is LOADED! Ah, but that’s not all, the china and glassware table is in this room too. It’s loaded with Fenton, Moon and Stars, MCM Empoli (Italian) decanters, MCM chip and dip set, a gorgeous two piece of antique Nippon moriage beaded set, and tons more! The book shelf downstairs is full of books about the Amish. (A number of them written by Kelly Irwin) There is an infrared Magnavox heater and a very nice slant top desk.

On the left side of the dining room is the FIRST BEDROOM.  There is an antique twin size sleigh bed, and it’s gorgeous, with a matching dresser with a mirror, and a night stand. There is also a cabinet for a sewing machine, and table cloths and full size aprons on the door.

Next you can walk right into the LIVING ROOM.  There are two recliners; one is a Lazy-boy, a double reclining sofa, and a nice arm chair. If you like Mid-Century Modern, there is a unique round side table, and two end tables (the match to the two end tables is upstairs in the storeroom), and there are two great MCM lamps as well as an antique floor lamp. For your entertainment there is a Magnavox stereo set with a turn tables, and speakers that are not hooked up as of yet, and a good amount of old gospel records... (which includes one of the Elvis albums!)

Ok breath in breath out, it’s UP the stairs we go!  Just as you get to upper floor you will see the entire banister full of adorable little aprons, then you can walk into the SECOND BEDROOM full of quilting, crafting fabric room, sewing notions, embroidery loops, & pattern books. There are some goodies here! Check out the pictures, there is a ton of cut squares, a bunch of 4 square sections, a Heavy duty Singer, a bed full of stacks of fabric, a table top quilt rack, and more including a twin bed, & a mid-century dresser.

Out across the hall is the THIRD BEDROOM, which was the master. There is a lovely bedroom suite, a rocker, some clothing in the closet, some lovely pieces on the dresser, including another Empoli decanter, and neat small items on the dressers.

Next up is the FOURTH BEDROOM, where you will find another nice bed, a vanity with mirror, straw hats, some linens, some what appear to be 1970’s prom dresses, and a wedding dress from Mary’s Bridal.

Finally we are in the FIFTH BEDROOM/OFFICE.   Here you’ll find a Steel Case type desk, and a four draw filing cabinet, a twin bed, linens and blankets, Medical items: like a walker, and a Porta potty, a Trail Master compound bow, and a unique wagon wheel shelf, and of course more!

On your way to the STORE ROOM, you will walk through a closet with another library, larger than downstairs, wreaths for all holidays, and into the Store room you go!  In the store room is an exercise bike a treadmill, the coffee table that matches the tables in the living room, another 32 pc set of dishes, and of course Christmas, and Easter… and some great wicker pieces.

Outside you will see a row of old farm equipment, and an older Craftsman GT 5000 riding lawnmower. (Needs a battery, and a belt on the deck)

We’ve emptied a few things out of the barn, and into the Garage!  The GARAGE (entrance only at the garage door) has some unique items, like the 1913 smokeless morning stove (a really neat barn find!) There are shovels, rakes, and more yard and garden items, a Hunting stand, and a hunters chair for his stand, a primitive tool tote, Tools, Hardware, gazing ball and stand, a Little Tikes wagon, gazing balls, and stand, a one man vintage logging saw, a primitive tool tote, and more!
