DeWinters and Chase Antiques Gallery proudly presents a ONCE IN A LIFETIME estate sale of quality antiques, including high end furniture from the Victorian era. The contents of this estate sale have been in storage for more than 50 years, when the owner of an antique shop in Grosse Pointe in the 1940's and 1950's closed. Much of this antique inventory has not been on the open market in over 50 years. The items include:
* rosewood sofa by the noted American furniture maker John Henry Belter c. 1850
* hand carved lion head bed c. 1860
* several rare antique French, English and American clocks all in pristine condition and in excellent working order
* wonderful heavily chromed and decorated Art Garland cook stove c. 1883
* antique lamps including "Gone With The Wind" lamps and fine cranberry glass hanging fixtures
