Terms & Conditions

NEW EDIT: FOR SUNDAY EVERYTHING WILL BE HALF OFF OR NEGOTIABLE, ( ME AND MY BROTHER ARE DEBATING THAT ISSUE ON THE 1972 NEW YORKER ONLY) WHICH WE STARTED DOING ON SATURDAY ANYWAY SO MIGHT AS WELL CONTINUE THAT TO SUNDAY: WE ALSO MAY OPEN A FEW MINUTES EARLIER AND POSSIBLY CLOSE AT 7.30 ON SUNDAY.PS We will only be placing an ESTATE SALE SIGN in the front yard of the house next to the Giant Colorado Blue Spruce Tree, right across Logan Elementary School so when our address comes up on Friday you will not have signs to guide you however our address is very easy to find and get to, where next to Michigan Ave. Cash only, no checks or charge card, sorry we are not a company just the children selling off stuff from are deceased parents and ours that we do not need.Make sure you have singles,$5 and $10 since we are also not a bank, specially early in the sale.We have plenty of empty boxes so only bring yourselves and cash( you can have your own but leave them in your car, in case we run out.Not responsible for accidents, sale will be held in one part of the house, downstairs in the basement in one half everything organized neatly unto picnic tables according to Merchandise, prices will be listed on paper taped to the wall above the tables,so only 5 people are allowed at a time since it will be only two people , me and my brother to keep watch. You can park anywhere on the street but do not block residents driveways, we don,t consider the people living here our neighbors they are of total foreign custom to us.You can park on our driveway in which we have two, one that runs next to the house and the other on our farm land.Well I think this is specific enough.Gates will be open 11am sharpe, not 3 hours early or 3 hours later, sale starts at 11am.Prices will be pretty much firm, most everything will be labeled with a Red,Green,Blue,Yellow sticker. Also please do not come here on a full stomach, if you must there is MacDonalds on Michigan Ave one block from my house if you need to use the restroom.I to use estate sales for our toy and advertising collection but mostly auctions so I travel to Ohio and Indiana so I am well aware about the above issues. Now for the street numbers, me and my brother have decided """I WILL START PASSING OUT STREET NUMBERS ON FRIDAY MARCH 18th STARTING AT 4pm to 9pm and the following morning on the day of the auction from 9.30am until we open, the front gate will be open for you to enter and me or my brother will be on the porch. After that your on your own.The address will be posted Friday morning. PS Regarding the nasty childess comment I received 12.30 pm today, I know enough about estate sales and estate folks that this nasty comment and the c word did not come from them, so rest assured estate folks you are welcome to drop by this weeknd, however I do know who sent it ( I usually tend to keep messages from things I sell on ""CRAIGSLIST"" on my email for as long as a year or longer) and I will deal with that issue and with ""THEM"" after my estate sale. Thank you and hope to see you folks at our little but modest estate sale.
