DuMouchelle’s auction previews are conducted at the gallery for one full week prior to the sale, including a late evening preview on the Wednesday prior to auction until 8:30 p.m. Condition Reports are available to those who cannot view items in person. DuMouchelle’s auction requires no entry fee and free valet parking is available to those attending. Doors open at 5:30 pm on Friday, 10am on Saturday and at 11am on Sunday. Paddle bidding at the auction allows for the most flexibility. But if you’re unable to attend, then phone and absentee bidding services are available - as well as internet bidding via www.liveauctioneers.com. DuMouchelles accepts wire transfers, checks, cash, Mastercard, Visa and Discover card (amount upon approval). A buyer’s premium of 20% is added to each lot purchased (23% when bidding via internet on Live Auctioneers). Please note also that All Sales Are Final. So do take time for previewing or obtaining a condition report. If you have a sales tax exemption certificate, please provide it ahead of time. Should you need to have an item shipped, either locally or out-of state, DuMouchelles can provide you with names of reputable delivery companies.

Our October evening sale features a fine collection of American Belleek Antique hand painted Porcelain, including a stunning Loving Cup by Franz A. Bischoff, plus interesting “Poppy” and “Tomato” tableware by Royal Bayreuth. Asian Decorative Objects, Furniture, and Fine Art are found throughout the sale, and include an Ornate Chinese Lacquered Tea Box, a variety of Ivory Carvings, an Antique Chinese Wood Cabinet, and a beautiful Japanese Hand Painted Wall Screen on Silk. Over thirty lots of Fine Jewelry are featured, as well as over fifty lots of Antique and Contemporary furniture. Friday also features interesting Collectibles such as the Blue Striped Prison Pants from “Cool Hand Luke” and a Helmet worn by Steve Quale in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”. Antique and Modern firearms are also available, including a 1915 9mm German Luger Pistol, a Winchester, Model 1886, Lever Action .45-70 Cal. The Saturday auction offers beautiful antique decorative arts, fine art and furnishings, highlights of which include a Rookwood vase by Grace Young featuring the portrait of a Sioux Indian, a Black, Starr & Frost sterling tea and coffee set with sterling tray, etchings by Jean Francois Millet and James McNeill Whistler, and a Bradley & Hubbard four-light hanging fixture. Willis, Emile Gauthier, Harold von Schmidt, William Coventry Wall, Edward Clark, Gustave Baumann, Hanna Stiebel, Rene Irene Prahar, Fernandez (Armand) Arman, Paul Jenkins, Kathe Kollwitz, Wagner (KPM porcelain plaque) and, as a special feature, a Frederic Remington original oil of a Utah landscape with oxen from the Edgecomb and William Mountain estate of East Lansing, Michigan.
