DuMouchelle’s auction previews are conducted at the gallery for one full week prior to the sale, including a late evening preview on the Wednesday prior to auction until 8:30 p.m. Condition Reports are available to those who cannot view items in person. DuMouchelle’s auction requires no entry fee and free valet parking is available to those attending. Doors open at 5:30 pm on Friday, 10am on Saturday and at 11am on Sunday. Paddle bidding at the auction allows for the most flexibility. But if you’re unable to attend, then phone and absentee bidding services are available - as well as internet bidding via www.liveauctioneers.com. DuMouchelles accepts wire transfers, checks, cash, Mastercard, Visa and Discover card (amount upon approval). The Friday evening sale offers a variety of fine and decorative arts, dazzling jewelry and watches, oriental rugs and furnishings. The auction opens with a 19th century Orientalist painting by F. Herink followed by Noel H. Leaver watercolors, a Schneider centerpiece, Lino Sabattini “Persepoli” vase, and sterling silver table ware; a Kittinger mahogany sideboard and Biedermeir chest of drawers; and French clocks.
