Silent Auction
Our Silent Auction is a timed multi-round bidding system where bidders can bid as high as they want, silently competing to win each dream package. Packages include hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, Michigan State apparel, one of a kind gift items, and much more. Mix this in with good conversation with our wonderful Hospitality Business student volunteers, and the night could not get any better.
Live Auction
Our Live Auction, presented by Bob Howe, our auctioneer for the past 24 years, is fast paced and full of life. Dan Miller, Detroit Lions Radio Play by Play announcer and Fox 2 Detroit Sportscaster, emcees this portion of the event. The Live Auction includes unique golf and resort packages, multi-night stays in beautiful hotels often paired with fabulous dining, sports or theater experiences, as well as much more. Let us send you to your dream destination. You won’t want to miss this!

Bidders who are not able to attend the auction in East Lansing can bid on Destination Auction packages in real time while the event is happening. Bidders can also place an "absentee bid" on an item they're interested in. This "absentee bid" is a maximum amount of money you're willing to spend on the package which remains secret until the package goes live for bidding. From there, the computer system will automatically bid on your behalf up to your chosen amount! You can participate in our online auction on any device from anywhere all over the world. We invite you to join in on the Destination Auction fun, even if you can't make it to East Lansing!
