Welcome to another Lolly & Pop's custom estate sale. This week, we are at the lovely home of award-winning artist Jim Patterson. He was a native of the UP and worked as a graphic artist at GM. He was a member of the Michigan Watercolor Society, the Farmington Artists' Club, the Farmington Community Arts Council, and the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Association.

SPECIAL ITEMS - We are carrying over some very special artworks from last week's sale. "Greektown" is a wonderful work by Detroit artist Robert Gniewek depicting a sunny day on Monroe Street in the 1970's. Gniewek paints scenes of American roadside culture using a photo realistic style to depict diners theater's, gas stations and urban vistas. His paintings have sold for as much as $17,000 in the past few years. This may be purchased at any time for $5,000.
We also have two signed and numbed prints by Aldo Luongo, an Argentinian artist known for his contemporary interpretation of Impressionistic figurative painting. Born in 1941, Luongo studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires before moving to the United States to play soccer professionally for the New York Cosmos. He found later success producing artwork for sporting events, highlighted by his title of official Olympic Artist, World Cup Artist, and Sports Artist of the Year throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. "Brothers" is a signed and numbered lithograph, circa 1975 and is available anytime for $575. "My Favorite Redhead" is a signed and numbered serigraph available at any time for $950.
