This is a Magnificent lifelong collection of museum quality antique/vintage clothing, accessories, and laces.  We have over 200 quality antique gowns - many museum quality and more than 200 Christening/Baptismal gowns.  They range from 1840's to 1930's.  There are many phenomenal lace wedding gowns, reception gowns, and bustle dresses. The collection includes a large selection of wax wedding crowns and a huge collection of shoes.  Along with these magnificent gowns is a large collection of museum quality antique laces to include Cantu, Brussels, Belgian tape lace,  Italian needle laces, Normandy lace  and many more!!  If you are interested in a piece, I have many more pictures of each item that can be sent to you.  All measurements are approximate.  We will describe the items  the best we can but, please be aware, we are not an authorities on these items so there are no guarantees of  descriptions. This is an estate sale so all sales are final. Please ask questions and look carefully at the pictures, as they are part of the descriptions. These items have been in storage and some have a  storage odor that I believe will air out but will not guarantee.  I have not cleaned any items..

Bodice is in good but delicate condition except for tearing of the netting in the underarms.  There are also some pinholes in the bottom edging. There is a note with it mentioning a wedding and the year 1897.   It is unclear if it was a wedding dress or possibly part of trousseau. There are a few stains on the lace but otherwise, the lace is in excellent condition.  The inner lining is shattering. Gown is labeled Field Leiter &  Co, Chicago.  Gown is one piece made to look like 2 pieces.  Satin front with bows.  Gown has its own bustle underneath.  Each underarm has a slight stain but no damage.  There is one small tear in the train.  Large train.  Very small size.  According to paperwork when gown was bought, gown is attributed to Alice Sheldon Mathews, Married to Albert Blake Dick of the AB Dick Company on January 25, 1881.  Information will be included with gown.  Gorgeous gown!!  Near Mint Condition. Bodice -  boned and in very good condition except for underarm damage.   Skirt - overall in pretty good condition but has some problems.  There are some stains, tears, and the waist band is tearing from the skirt due to the  weight of the skirt.  The skirt is very heavy!! There is beautiful beaded fringe under the lace of the skirt.  A small amount of beadwork fringe is missing at the hem.  Dress appears to have been a light lavender color and has faded.  Dress needs some repair but is still a magnificent  display piece. Inner silks are shattering.  Dress labeled.  Label is difficult to read but I think is says Mme. Margane, Paris. Dress has family note with it stating it is a wedding gown from 1868.   Drop shoulders, decorative braiding.  Original belt.  There are a few pin holes in  the skirt and some discoloration at underarms.  Occasional small stain.  Some dirt on train.  There are 4 missing buttons.  Some slight discoloration. The skirt has 1 tear and multiple pinholes in the train.  Dress is fitting awkwardly on the form because it is to small for my form. Measurements:  Shoulder to Shoulder - 10",  Bust - 26",  Waist 20", Length 17". Pink Satin and Lace Shoes with ribbon flowers.  Shoes have elastic bands at the back.  The elastic bands are stretched out.  Each heal has a screw in it so I believe the heal has been replaced.
