This is a Magnificent life long collection of museum quality antique/vintage clothing, accessories, and laces.  We have over 200 quality antique gowns - many museum quality and more than 200 Christening/Baptismal gowns.  They range from 1840's to 1930's.  There are many phenomenal lace wedding gowns, reception gowns, and bustle dresses. The collection includes a large selection of wax wedding crowns and a huge collection of shoes.  Along with these magnificent gowns is a large collection of museum quality antique laces to include Cantu, Brussels, Belgian tape lace,  Italian needle laces, Normandy lace  and many more!!  If you are interested in a piece, I have many more pictures of each item that can be sent to you.  All measurements are approximate.  We will describe the items  the best we can but, please be aware, we are not authorities on these items so there are no guarantees of  descriptions. This is an estate sale so all sales are final. Please ask questions and look carefully at the pictures, as they are part of the descriptions. These items have been in storage and a few have a  storage odor that I believe will air out but will not guarantee.  I have not cleaned any items..

42.)  19th Century Brocade & Tambour Lace Reception Gown with Ribbon and Flowers.  Bodice is boned with lace sleeves and collar.  Applied flowers to the sleeves, waist, and skirt.  Trained.  Small area of dirt on train.  Missing original ties and 1 hook on top of bodice.  Near mint condition.  Measures:  Top:  Bust 34”, Waist 24”. The skirt has decorative cording and beautiful velvet covered buttons.  There are 3 tiny marks to the velvet and some giving of the under silk at the waist band.  Overall condition is excellent. Per Wikipedia, "Starting in 1889,[1] Clarkson's company supplied costumes and wigs used in the amateur dramatic productions of Queen Victoria's family and circle.[6] He provided the wigs for the princesses who were attending the fancy-dress Devonshire House Ball of 1897, and visited Buckingham Palace beforehand to arrange their hair.[6]Edward VII appointed him "Royal Perruquier and Costumier."[5]"  William Clarkson was also a Jack the Ripper suspect. Gown is labeled:  W. Clarkson,  Perruquier& Costumer, 41-43 Wardour St, London W.  I cannot read the top of the label,  Royal crest is on the label. 20)  ca 1900's Princess lace wedding gown.  There are a few stains on the lace but otherwise, the lace is in excellent condition.  The inner lining is shattering. According to paperwork when gown was bought, gown is attributed to Alice Sheldon Mathews, Married to Albert Blake Dick of the AB Dick Company on January 25, 1881. 22)  ca 1870's  - 1880's Brocade Reception Gown with lace and beads.  Bodice -  boned and in very good condition except for underarm damage.   Skirt - overall in pretty good condition but has some problems.  There are some stains, tears, and the waist band is tearing from the skirt due to the  weight of the skirt.  The skirt is very heavy!! There is beautiful beaded fringe under the lace of the skirt.  A small amount of beadwork fringe is missing at the hem.  Dress appears to have been a light lavender color and has faded.
