Welcome to the Estate of Dori Hunter. Dori was very gifted in Cross Stitch and Embroidery. You will see several of her lovely creations throughout the home. She and her husband were also active Fenton Moose Members.
As you walk through the front door into the Living Room you will see the Jewelry table in front of you and the Glass Table to your right. There is a tote of Vintage Pictures, Photographs, Prints, and Watercolor. The Glass Table is home to vintage Pyrex and Corelle, Miller High Life Collector Beer Steins, a Budweiser Beer Stein, Long Stem Wine Glasses, a tea pot, a repro Mayfair Depression Glass Pitcher, a Mid Century Gold & Clear Chip & Dip Set, Made in USA Jade Green Drip Coffee Pot & Creamer, Fenton Rosaline Fairy Lamp, Fenton Hobnail Toothpick Holder, Musical Bar Decanter (Plays “How Dry I Am”) , Carnival Glass Bowl, Murano Style Vase, various Children’s tea sets, and other miscellaneous items. There are two 1932 Buick Reference Books, a great Mid Century Duck Basket, Lamps, an ashtray, and baskets. You will find several hanging pictures and large Gold Oval Mirror on the walls. Matching Lane End tables, a Mid Century End Table, Lazy Boy Recliner, & a side Chair round out the furniture in the living room.
On the Display Ledge in the Kitchen you will find a wire letter rack, a lovely Universal China Ballerina Mist Water Jug & Refrigerator Bowl w/lid, a fantastic vintage Half Pint Milk Bottle, Mid Century glass Display bowl, Galileo Thermometer, Vintage Brown Whiskey Bottle, Green & Blue Decorative Bottles, & a set of Salt & Pepper Shakers. Our Products are next to the stove which holds various Fry Pans, a spoon rest, & cheese board. Across the sink you will find Glass Canisters, Kitchen Utensils, Vintage Olympia & Miller Beer Trays, Mini Microwave, Vintage Poke Along Crockery Cook Pot, Ultimate Chopper, Robinson Ramsbottom Roseville Pottery Spaghetti Bowl, large holiday Serving Platter, Apple Cookie Jar, Pyrex Bowls, Casserole & Salad Bowl, nice set of Paula Dean Sauce Pans, Bread Pans, Egg Rings, and various baskets. The upper cupboard houses the misc. mugs, sugar bowl, Pyrex baking dish & Bundt Pan. The lower cupboards hold, 2 Enamel Turkey Roasters, various sauce pans, Dutch Ovens, Cake Pans, Veggie Steamer, & Three Short Bar Stools.
The Pantry is home to Ball Canning Jars, a Blender, vintage beaters, Office Supplies, & a host of plastic containers w/lids.
The Dining Room has a great Mid Century table with four Chairs, Claw Foot Chair with Inlay in the Back, A lovely Hand Made Tablecloth, made by Dori, A large Hand Blown Swirl Glass Vase, some pictures, an antique Oval Mirror, multi-tiered Corner Shelf, and Plant Stand with Italian tiles.
Back through the house, to the hallway you will see several pictures. The door on the left is the Den and has a lovely Mid Century Faux Mink Coat, Crochet Lace Table Cloth, & Vintage Flint Journal News Boy Bag. Inside you will find a Buckskin Gallagher Oil Painting, a small Sofa Sleeper, two Bookcases, TV Stand, a Two Shelf Stand, low Entertainment Shelf Unit, LOTS of DVD’s, modern to vintage, Jonny Carson, Carol Burnette, and many, many more. There are VHS of Red Skelton, Cats, Snow White, & Laurel and Hardy. There are CD’s, Cassettes, a few Albums, Children’s Pied Piper Music Collection, a Vintage Album Storage Box, many Books, Frames, Stuffed Animals, Raggedy Ann & Andy, and a vintage Wicker Baby Doll Buggy.
Across the hall is the Master Bedroom. Here you will find a Mid Century Bedroom Suite with a Tall Chest of drawers, a Low Chest of Drawers, & Bed with head & foot boards. A TV Cart, an End Table, Wicker Hamper, Jewelry Boxes, Purses, Clothing, Lamp, Hats, Scarves, Ladies Handkerchiefs, A Musical Powder Box, Ashtray, Boom Box, Hamilton Collection Plate “The Disgrace”, a Vintage Army Book Cover, and pictures on the walls. The Door has several of Dori’s Hand Made Linens.
Back down the hall to your right is the Laundry Room. There is a matching General Electric Washer, (with Stainless Steel Tub), and Gas Dryer, Clothing, Shoes, LOTS of Embroidery Floss, two Quilt Back Kits, Pillow Cases, Towels, clothing, a Coat Rack with various Hats, & Pictures.
Out the back door to the Garage on the far wall you will find Three Ladders, an Antique Rocker, Runner Rug, Tyco Display Case, Oil Painting, Moose Picture, Garden Tools, Antique Dry Sink, Antique Grain Mill, its Miller Time Tin, Books, Bird Bath Stands, Patio Chairs, & Milk Crates. Rounding the corner is Christmas, Misc. Garage Items, & a Sofa & Love Seat round the next corner. On the work bench with a good vice. There are Ball Canning Jars, a vintage RCA Modular Series Stereo Phonograph, a small Shop Vac, Vice Clamp, drawers with Tools, underneath are buckets, and a wood box. Next to the shop bench is a Patio bench, & Heavy Duty Outdoor Rocker. There is some Medical Equipment, and lots of Garden Pots, Pot Holders, & Tables. In the center of the room is a card table & four chairs, on the table are some Antique Silver plate Dinning Service Pieces, a painted Tin Trunk, & an antique Tin. The next garage table holds some antique Light Fixtures, Wrought Iron Pot Stand, misc. Wrought Iron, tin & copper pieces. The next table holds more Antique tin & brass items, Aladdin Oil Lamp, Oil Lamps, and Converted Oil to Electric Lamps, Pitchers, and insulators.
