Travel Suggestions: If you drive in from a two-hour distance or more, we strongly recommend a Friday afternoon arrival and our preview. There is an abundance of Hotels available within minutes of the auction site. The average Friday evening stay with Saturday morning breakfast is $100 per night or less. We are told by SpringHill Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites that they have ample availability for Friday evening 1/3/25.

A Look at our "It's a New Year" auction event...
For months we have been working diligently to sort, categorize, catalog, and photo one of the most unique Estates that we have ever offered at public auction. Our New Year auction will feature a seldom-seen one-owner collection (90 examples) of original WWII posters, 100’s of original Antique maps (dating 1690's to 1860's), and rare books... This is the largest public auction of this type to be held in the tri-State

area in many years...

Antique Maps: From a private extensive collection, we offer literally hundreds of

                            of original antique maps, most dating from the 1690’s to 1870’s… All to

                            be sold to the highest bidder (individually and in multiple lots). This

                            will be a special section of our fantastic “It’s a New Year” auction in

                            Grand Ledge, Michigan on January 4th, 2025…
 

Antique Books & Ephemera: Also on January 4th, 2025 we feature a select grouping

                           of rare books and illustrations from the late-1600’s to late-1800’s…

If you are new to our Specialty Auctions here is what you need to know:

1.  A catalog of the entire New Year's Auction Event will be available at our website beginning December 2024

2.  The auction doors will open for Preview at 8:30am on Saturday, January 4th 

4.  Preview ends at 10am sharp on auction day

5.  At 10am all bidders must take their seats, away from the auction tables

6.  All items are sold "as found" and sold subject to the auction rules found at our website

7.  Terms are Cash or Credit card (3% fee added for Credit Card use)

8.  A 10% (in-house) Buyer's premium will be applied to all auction purchases

9.  Michigan has a 6% sales tax, which is added to all purchases (unless you present a valid sales tax number)

10. All sales are final

The entire New Year's auction will take less than four hours, getting you back on the road early. Complimentary morning snacks and coffee. Please use your bid card to signal your bidding. Please call for hotel and dining recommendations.
