ANOTHER GREAT LEISURE SOUTH SALE

As you walk into the Kitchen you will see some very neat kitchen items, like Pfaltzgraff Heritage (white) service for 4 with 22 pieces extra pieces, large pressed serving bowls, Corelle baking dishes, Pyrex, Fire King 2 qt lime green casserole with lid, and more Pyrex baking dishes, retro glassware, like Tervis set of six, unique champagne glasses and wine glasses, a number of large serving platters, a milk glass cake stand decorated in 22K gold, a Boonton yellow divided casserole, and so much more! We uncovered a really cool RC Allen salesman sample Cash Register which is now at the end of the kitchen counter.

The kitchen flows out into the Dining room, where you will there is a beautiful over 100 year old linen sideboard or console, a Beautiful service for 12 Oneida Community - Michaelangelo pattern– 59 pieces, a wonderful copper signed art piece on the wall, and the costume jewelry table.

From the dining room you walk into the Living room. There is a gorgeous Curio cabinet, a pair of living room chairs, two very nice love seats, a lovely signed and numbered art print of the Lake Michigan shore, a beautiful marble based floor lamp, a pair of vintage end tables, (one is a two tiered) an a glass top square coffee table. Also the china and glass tables are in the Living room with some gorgeous items. There is a large collection of crystal, including a few American Brilliant pieces, (the tallest of these is 12” tall, and a bowl that measures 9” across) a 17” Shannon Lead Crystal vase (Ireland), a 10” French ribbed vase a number of vintage Egyptian perfume bottles, a set of Cambridge Rose Point goblets; & wine glasses, Cranberry glass, cobalt hand blown glass, Delft, a large set of Royal Doulton Miramont china – service 12 62 pieces, purchased in 1976 for Siegal’s Jewelry in Grand Rapids, and more.

Down the Hall is a lovely Console and Mirror. The first room on your right is the Bedroom. There you will find a neat metal patio table and two swivel patio chairs, a vintage en’s butler, luggage, and a large amount of Vintage Pharmaceutical items like: all different sizes and shapes of Mortars and Pestles, and a good amount of different sized beakers.

Across the hall is the Den where books (some vintage a large selection of J. Grishom) records, a “ HD Samsung flat screen, a pair of leather top Imperial end tables (Grand Rapids) a round leather top Imperial coffee table, Leland Fishtown pencil print of the Leelanau Peninsula, Vintage Pioneer headphones, a great La-Z-boy, a vintage scrap book of stamps, C. Loomis a Grand Rapids photographer, signed matted and framed, Technics disc CD player, Koss DVD player, Records (mostly clasical),Harman Kardon CD, and an Allied solid state 8 band reciever. We had added a Harman Kardon reciever today, Model #HK3301.  I had the time to look over the stamp scrap book, and it is Very cool. The stamps are mostly 1930's 2 and 3 cent stamps, like Army, Navy & Merchant marine... Check out the new pictures!

Through the den going out the other door you come right back into the kitchen and there you will see the stairs to the lower level. When you get to the bottom of the stairs you will be in the Family Room where you will see a very cool Sligh “buffet table”. It looks like a drop leaf table, and closes up to that size, but once you turn the table top it opens up to a full table, underneath one side are drawers and storage space. There are three book shelves (two have books), with a Realistic Turntable on the other side (Model LAB450). There is a Smith Corona electric typewriter, a vintage Sewmor heavy duty sewing machine with cabinet, lots of sewing notions like 6 small baggies of unsorted buttons, crochet cotton, counted cross stitch, hook rug kit, thread and more sewing notions. Next to the vintage highboy is a vintage bookshelf table, and a vintage rush seat chair. On the other side of the room are games, linens, a Realistic CB radio, a vintage Rheem Reel to reel (model Roberts 1719), and a Carl Forslund Letter Holder, a vintage burled oak coat rack, and a 1974 Post Office wall sized Grand Rapids street map.

As you walk into the hall headed back to the storage room there are odds and ends of small Kitchen appliances like a chrome Sunbeam mixer with a stand, a toaster, popcorn popper, crockpot and more.

The hall ends up in the Storage/Workshop room. The first things you will see are an assortment of lawn and garden tools, down hill Hanover Northland skis, a wonderful Crosley floor model tube radio, a large antique Post Office Mail sorter, (which is very cool) an antique Postmasters Desk with a burled oak desk chair (the family says this is a WPA chair, a small wood ladder, and a regular step ladder, three packs of Zinc canning jar lids, Tootsie toy trucks, a neat oval galvanized pail, hand tools, and hardware, and tons of golf balls. We found some more treasures today; a U.S. Post Office inscribed paper weight (from the old downtown Grand Rapids Post Office), a 1900 Adairack #3 paper weight,  a Daisy Model 188 Pistol BB Gun, and a pair of 1970's Corvette Sun Glasses. 

The Christmas room is to your right as you exit the work shop, and there are some nice Christmas items, as well as Men’s and Ladies Golf Clubs, and quite a bit of golf accessories. There is another solid burled oak post office chair, (not a desk chair), and four unique bird pictures, (the birds have real feathers on their tails)
