This is a 5,500 sq ft home- 3 levels (main floor, winding staircase leads to an upstairs level and also one leading to a finished walk-out basement) there is also an attached garage plus a separate detached garage. EVERY room is packed. There are some tight areas because we filled rooms with tables and shelving in order to display the many collections of items that this couple acquired as they traveled the world through many years. There is a lot of beautiful teak furniture throughout the home (most of it came from House of Denmark). As you enter the home you will see various displays of signed artwork, asian serve wear, lots of crystal including many pieces of Waterford, Murano glass, Lladro, and tons of other interesting pieces of artifacts from their travels. There are 4 bedrooms (two bedrooms have furniture, artwork, walk in closets full of clothing and shoes and other miscellaneous items) the other two very large bedrooms-one was used as an office/library filled with floor to ceiling bookcases (stacked with all kinds of books including a very large collection of cookbooks) vintage games, office supplies, beautiful office furniture, and World Globes. The other “bedroom” is a large craft/sewing room filled with knitting, sewing, and all sorts of crafty items. This room is filled with California Closet Cabinets and drawers that you’ll have to open and explore. Also, a walk-in closet in this room filled with ladies clothing (many with tags still on them). The third bedroom upstairs has a lovely teak bedroom set that is in impeccable condition! The third bedroom also has a walk-in closet filled with ladies clothing as well as a California Closet Cabinets filled with fancy gowns, vintage hats, shoes, and purses that were bought for the fancy cruise line dinners during their excursions. As you walk through the open hallway, you will find tables filled with fine linens including vintage linens. The main level has a formal dining room filled with fine furniture including a teak dining table that converts from a 12 person seating with 3 leaves that can be tucked away and stored beneath the table to convert to a 6 person seating arrangement. There are also two sideboard/credenza cabinets, a teak/glass china tall cabinet as well as a vintage HP Hansen Floating Hutch/Sideboard from the 1960’s. The other rooms on the main level (besides the formal dining room, master bedroom, and grand formal living room) is another smaller media/living room with a leather couch, teak coffee and side tables, and more artwork plus a huge kitchen open to a less formal dining area with another very interesting unique dining table with 4 teak chairs, a collection of copper cookware, chopping block, and a beautiful large set of dishes. There are 2 refrigerators (one stainless the other is black) a Frigidaire Gallery Freezer/Fridge Combo (can be either a fridge or a freezer, a Gaggenau Electric Cooktop with conduction, and a Dacor Epicure Double Convection Oven, (both of the cooktop and oven are brand new in the box never used ). The garage is accessible through the kitchen down a small hallway past the laundry room and another bathroom. The garage is filled with gardening items, hoses, bird feeders, squirrel feeders, gardening fertilizers, household cleaning supplies, storage cabinets, and all kinds of other things (some hand tools are in the garage and some are located in the basement workshop area). The basement is located by the main entrance…a winding staircase right near the winding upstairs staircase. There are several rooms in the basement as well. An open area as you enter the basement area is filled with bakeware (stainless rolling racks stacked with a large collection of Nordic Ware) tables filled with stemware, serving utensils, nautical type decor, Byers’ Doll Collection, Lighthouse collectibles, Ships, Nautical styled lighting and tons of really interesting things. We have a huge Christmas Decor room filled with Fontanini Collectibles. Another room (about 600 sq ft) filled with metal shelving units that are stocked with EVERYTHING that you would need to entertain guests-small appliances, bakeware, cake baking/decorating supplies, cookie making, pie baking, bread making, white dish wares, stainless steel cookware, buffet accessories, graduation party accessories (you name it, we probably have it) waffle makers, coffee makers, ALL kinds of MAKERS! If you think it took you a LONG time to read this, it will take you a very LONG time to go through this house and look at everything!
