TWO GENERATIONS OF PRIMITIVES, ANTIQUES AND MID-CENTURY
You will enter in the Living Room, where you will find an awesome selection of mostly vintage jewelry with lots of nice men’s and ladies watches too! The china and glassware table is in the living room with a Jadite batter bowl, Fenton Burmese glass, Becky Peas Gutman figurines, West Moreland 1,000 eyes, German steins and much more. There are a number of lovely oil on Canvas pictures, two are textured, a great hanging Owl lamp a roll-top desk, one vintage stamp collector book, The Grand Rapids Singer book, with WWII songs, a cuckoo clock, a good assortment of hunting knives, an extremely old black powder gun.. the only writing on the barrel is S. Buchanan (stock is broken off at the barrel but the piece is there, ( possibly a civil war gun?)
In the Hallway are three large sets of framed golf balls. The First Bedroom on your left has a small save and a large strong box, and some small ones, games, bicycle helmets, a very old coal steam iron, 2 vintage adding machines, Camera’s and tons more!
The Second Bedroom on your left has a queen bed, an antique Kenmore sewing machine in a cabinet, a few sewing notions, a nice bookcase filled with books, luggage and three vintage quilts.
The Third Bedroom across the hall has a 3 piece Bassett Natural bedroom suit, (excellent condition), a Kirby G4 with all the attachments plus shampoo attachment and extra bags, a men’s Valet chair plus more!
Back down the hall puts you into the Dining Room where you will find the Best collection of vintage aprons I’ve seen, small kitchen appliances, a microwave and a microwave cart, a three dimensional Last supper picture, and a portable computer desk, with a nice HP printer. The china and glassware table is here also with a vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster plus attachments, a silver plate cordial set, Pyrex, a boxed set of Community silverware, a five piece Cutco knife set in its wall box, a set of 4 Cutco steak knives, and a paring knife, and the linen rack with vintage linens is in the dining room also.
Next is the Kitchen where there is Pampered Chef, Pyrex, Fire King, Vintage Utensils, tons of Tupperware and much more!
Out of the kitchen down the stairs there is three rooms, the First Room on your left has a nice work bench area with lots of small hand tools including two vintage FORD wrenches, and hardware. There are some great vintage planes, telephones, some canning jars already boxed, a good number of blue quart and ½ gall. Jars, a snowmobile or motor cycle helmet, misc. outdoor hunting and winter clothes, china and glassware, a vintage metal Coleman cooler, a cool vintage Trillmont heater, a large safe and more!
Across the hall is the Laundry Room where you will find household products, vintage tins and more.
At the end of the short hall is the Family Room. There is a great gaming table top, which is bumper pool, the other is a poker table and a top. On the shelf is an old Royal Typewriter, an old Camfield mixer (made in Grand Haven) and other kitchen appliances. The Christmas table is down here too, and most of it is vintage. There is a great Mid-century Welby starburst clock in perfect running condition, retro metal banks, a great project parlor table, a drop leaf project table with a New Proline Compound bow Cyclone force II, 2 great wood stools, an awesome Mid-Century Modern kitchen table with 3 chairs, a cedar chest, a toy box, wood folding chairs made by Leg-O-Matic, (used by Air Stream) and so much more!
Up the stairs out the door is the Breezeway, and this is where the golf department is! There is a great little drop leaf retro table, and all of the antique radio’s will be out here. There is a 1930’s Grunow Wave radio, another wood tube radio which is an Arvin, a Bakelite tube Arvin radio and other small portable radio’s.
The Garage has some awesome items. There is fun garden décor, 5 excellent wood sleds, 2 large ones, a 1930’s Flying Arrow with great graphics, a 1950’s Champion, three smaller wood sleds; two Paris Champion Fast Backs with great graphics, and one well loved one! The work bench is loaded with small hand tools, hardware, and a few small electric tools, some great tool boxes, a full set of Black and Decker drill bits, a man’s Schwinn Signature bicycle, outdoor lawn games including a vintage Croquet game which happens to be one of the first Rad Maker Croquet sets from the 1940's, a few crates, ladders, straw hats, a vintage planter, a boxing ring bell, baseball bats, mitt, catchers face mask, an excellent tackle box that’s loaded, lawn, garden, and automobile products and so much more!
Out back in the Barn we have done some awesome picking!! First we’ll start on the right side which is the equipment side. There is a cast iron rototiller called a Rot-O-Hoe, a large Generac Generator, and Steam punk factory cart, a Steam punk barrel cart, Steam punk factory table on castors, a large number of red metal gas cans, a large air compressor, and an extra air tank, a 12volt trolling motor, a Delta Rockwell table saw and stand, a bench grinder with an industrial metal light, two vintage copper propane torches, a barrel full of barn rope, a modern wheel barrow, and an old wheel barrow, a rotary lawn mower, rough sawn lumber including beams, and a weed eater. Around the corner is the work bench with lots of hand tools, and power tools, and a number of barn pulleys; from a 12” rope pulley to a very ornate metal pulley, a Lincoln welder, and some vintage hubcaps. The larger room on the left has a ton of primitives, like; vintage door hardware, crates, cast iron cornices, horse shoes, a railroad lantern (caboose lantern), antique ice skates and blades, wood kegs, a wood barrel, crates, galvanized tubs, and pails, small cast iron wood heaters, a painted hand plow, benches, a metal stool, yard and garden tools, antique andirons, an old red wagon, a milk box, ice tongs, spikes, hay hooks, a Stihl 031AV chainsaw in the case with extra chains, a McCulloch Mini Mac 6 chainsaw, and tons more!
