FORESTER often helps other families who are not allowed to conduct an estate sale on their property by taking their items offsite and selling in another FORESTER estate sale. This is stated in our contract and buyers are to be aware that all items with a different color tag are from another estate. FORESTER sells nothing of their own in their estate sales.
ALL items are considered used and sold AS IS; sorry, because this is not a store and this is not our inventory there are no returns or refunds.
MUST bring help to carry heavy items. No exceptions, as our Workman’s Comp. insurance does not allow us to lift items over 20lbs. Items must be picked up no later than 1pm on the final day of the sale.
MUST Sign-In ON OFFICIAL FORESTER SHEET, PLEASE NO TRANSFER OF NAMES, OR WRITING IN SOMEONE ELSE'S NAME. We cannot honor a sign-in sheet created by someone outside of our company. Thank you.
Sign-In Times: Day one @ 7:30am, Day two @ 8:00am, and day three 9:30am when applicable.
Due to the number of emails we receive as well as the large inventory in our estates, WE DO NOT QUOTE PRICES BEFORE SALE. Thank you for understanding.
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE AN ITEM ON DAY ONE WILL BE THERE ON DAY TWO. Not all items make it to half, nor 75% off, nor the box lots at the end. Due to those making written offers, and items client wants pulled from going down any further in price.

OFFER POLICY: You may leave a written offer on items over $100 of at least 60% of original price on the first day of the sale. If your offer is the highest, it will be marked sold and you will be notified that evening and required to pay and pick up the next day before 1 pm.

ESTATE VEHICLE PROTOCOL
Vehicles will have a suggested price based on similar vehicles sold in Michigan. NO TEST DRIVES at sale. Car keys in exchange for drivers license for engine starts only if applicable. Vehicles are sold to the person that has given the highest BID/OFFER. These BIDS/OFFERS are confidential and are kept in the cash box. BID/OFFERS are NOT used against others to increase the price. To place a BID/OFFER on a vehicle, you are to go to the Cashier and ask to leave a BID/OFFER. They will fill out an official form. ALL BIDS/OFFERS ARE LEGALLY BINDING. Do Not leave a written BID/OFFER if you do not intend to complete the transaction. BIDS/OFFERS are collected throughout the entire duration of the sale. Winning BID/OFFER is contacted the evening of the LAST day of sale (ie. If sale ends sat. called after 6pm sat.) Appointment will be made for test drive (if applicable) on the following Monday or Tuesday. Test drive limited to down the street only with FORESTER representative present. FULL payment due at time of test drive in form of cash or cashiers check from LOCAL bank/credit union made to FORESTER LLC. All vehicles have clear titles. Most are paid off, however, if not, buyer receives car, keys and bill of sale, until funds are accepted and title is released. Most of time, vehicles are clear and signed off. All vehicles are sold AS IS, and there are no warranties or refunds. All repairs, transfer fees and transport fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer understands that FORESTER is selling the vehicle on behalf of the seller and rightful owner only. BID/OFFER can be lower or higher than suggested price. Often vehicles sell for more than asking price. Be creative as we have seen buyers win by a few dollars. BID/OFFER cannot be placed via phone or without seeing vehicle first hand.
