This Auction is the sale of the estate of Francois Nicole-Jeanne Faucett, born in 1931 to Thomas and Joanne Estes in East Grand Rapids, MI. The family resided in Alpena, MI, for many years and that is where Ms. Faucett spent her formative years. Ms. Faucett's mother was an artist of some renown and she followed her mother's path by graduating from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the American Academy of Fine Art, also in Chicago. During her time in Chicago, Ms. Faucett lived in the 3 Arts Club. Pursuing a career in art, Ms. Faucett spent her life as an artist and illustrator - including work for Seventeen Magazine. Dignified and spiritual, Ms. Faucett was also a very caring woman who loved her animals, too. Additionally, she was very proud of her Native American and French descent. This estate is filled with unique artifacts and her comfort zone and represents a lifetime of collecting and keeping treasures from her childhood up through her mature, later years and also contains momentos and possessions which belonged to her parents.
This estate is full of interesting items from the 1800s until present.
Everything in this estate is clean and well taken care of.
