The Port Huron Museum will hold its first ever Public Auction on Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 am, at the Carnegie Center. Registration begins at 9 am at 1115 Sixth Street, Port Huron, MI 48060.
Through the generosity of the Mueller family,among the items that will be offered will be silver, crystal, linens and fine china from the Bessie I. Mueller Estate. This is the family that founded Mueller Brass Co. over 100 years ago.
From the Museum, we will have art, frames, office furniture, books, glassware,sculpture, tribal art, dolls and many other items that our process has deemed are not in keeping with our mission. All items offered have been fully vetted by the Collections Committee and the Board of Trustees, in keeping with the highest museum standards and ethics.
Some items will be offered for sale, in addition to the live auction items.
The Carnegie Center is currently closed, in preparation for this event. No one will be admitted before the preview days of Wednesday, and Thursday, September 12-13, and Friday, September 15, from noon to 8 pm. You may pre-register at that time.
We will accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. Unfortunately, no delivery is available and all items must be removed within 7 days, NO EXCEPTIONS, due to the nature of our business. Thank you.
