From the moment you enter this Mid Century Tri-level, you will be treated to a gallery wall of breathtaking artwork and photography, including a wall filled with fabulous photographs from Walter Pinkus, noted Ann Arbor Art Fair artist, who retired in 2012....which is a glimpse of things to come....

When you look to your left, the check out area, containing the collection of collectible decorative swords, an Antique Spanish Sword, Authentic Bayonets from WW2, Antique knives and a vast collection of  WW2 & Mid Century Medals,

The wall to your right holds 3 Fabulous Original Pastels by Jody De Pew McLeane, a rare opportunity to purchase these before they go to auction.

The Dining Room features a Modern Dining Set with 4 Splashy upholstered chairs with a black background surrounding a Glass Top Pedestal Table.   On top of the table is a beautiful set of China and there is a great Silver Plate Flatware Set with Serving Pieces.

The gallery wall behind the dining table features fantastic Pop art and Bookcases filled with great Home decor, Silver plate Serving Pieces,  and more.....Turn around and you'll see a living room featuring a great sectional, Hollywood Regency tables, and a 3 piece Cherry Wall Cabinet by Ethan Allen filled with great collections and pieces.  There are Tonalo Mexican pottery pieces, a huge collection of Duck Decoys, a huge collection of Handpainted and Stone Eggs and Mid Century Crystal, Princess House Crystal, and great sculptures and more....Look up over the railing and you will see a wall filled with original art by renowned Detroit Artist Pat Duff of the Scarab Club,"a timeless, unbounded community of men and women devoted to the fine arts. It was to honor and promote this community that a group of Detroit artists and art patrons, who met informally after lectures at the Detroit Museum of Art, established the Scarab Club in 1907. Named after the Egyptian symbol of rebirth, the group devoted itself to the perpetual renewal of the arts in Detroit." Pat's work includes a fabulous portrait of Paul Robeson, Nelson Mandela, and other stunning works.  Several of her nudes are displayed upstairs in the restricted gallery room.  Pat's work can best be summed up in her own words "Objects, actions, or mere shapes, which in ordinary life would be unbearably repellent, can become sources of pleasure in art, not because they have a morbid appeal but because they allow us to come to terms, in art, with the horrors and the pains which would overwhelm us in real life. Without the contrast of ugliness, beauty would be insipid. Ugliness is part of the conflict resolved through art with harmony." 

The living room is also home to a stunning Willet's Mid Century Glass Top Cabinet that holds a unique collection of Mid Century collectibles including a great Brass Scale  and , great antique Limoges dishes and figurines..

The main area of the house is filled with wonderful  Sculptures, Art Pieces and Collectibles from around the world.  These include pieces from Tanzania, Kenya, Morocco, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Japan, the Far East and   other ports of call this Naval Aviator and Historian visited as well as a fabulous Military Trunk from WW2 and German Gas Mask. 

At the end of the Hallway is a room packed floor to ceiling with Original Art Work, including Pat Duff's bodyscaping pieces.  Framed Posters and a Rattan Love Seat and stool,  books of an Adult Nature on Human Sexuality, Fertility statues, Mexican and South American Statues and 2 great Dhurrie Rugs

The full bath upstairs is filled with bath essentials and a huge assortment of shells and home decor. The linen closet is filled with sheet sets, towels and more...

..and our Master Suite with closets and racks filled with fashions, a fabulous desk, high boy and nightstand and much more! Fabulous Art Work and Artifacts, including a cow skull,  Native American Art and Artifacts, objects collected throughout Mexico and the Yucatan  a huge selection of wood and metal frames for your pictures in all sizes, a great selection of Architectural Digest Magazines, a fabulous upholstered bench, decorative pillows and more ....and a huge collection of Mid Century Brass Home Decor

If you are a serious Weight Lifter we have a fabulous selection of gently used equipment including a Vision Fitness Recumbent bike, a Bowflex XTL, a Dip Bar Free Weight Arm Bench, Medicine Ball, Squat Rack, Heavy Bag, Free Weights, Weight Benches, Curl Bars, Pull Ropes, Hand Grips, a Weight Belt, Weights and Olympic size Weights & Curl Bar both in the lower level and the garage.

The basement office is home to a fabulous library containing many books on history, African American culture, Race relations, Philosophy and  world Religions, dozens of books on Catholicism as well as antique books and Collectible Book Sets from the 1950's forward.   There are High School and College Year Books from the 1940's - 1960's - with great graphics....from Northwestern, Cody and Northern Illinois.  All of the great Book Shelves & Racks in this room are also for sale! The office features a small desk, a complete Dell PC system, printer and tablets, as well as great political and historical art work and mid century sculptures that were collected by this wonderful gentleman over the years.  There are two fold out chair/beds and a great reproduction of an ancient print framed on the wall.

Don't forget to peruse the garage, filled with tools, storage, car and garden essentials, storage, auto accessories & necessities....a Coleman 6250 Watts generator, tool storage, Medical needs like walkers, benches and a bariatric wheel chair for our Seniors needs... and for you weight lifters a Weight Rack and Olympic Bar and Weights...
