GENERAL AUCTION INFORMATION:
a.) Auctions usually begin on Wednesdays or Thursdays and end on Sundays at 7pm.
b.) Every auction item starts at just $1.00. Bidding increments are $1.00 until the item reaches $20.00. After $20.00, bidding increments increase to $2.00 each bid. (i.e. If an item is currently at $18.00, the next bid would be $19.00. If an item is currently at $20.00, the next bid would be $22.00)
c.) NONE of our items have a reserve. Even higher-end items! This means the item will sell for whatever the highest bid is, at the time the item closes.
d.) Our auctions are “soft close” auctions: this means if a bid is placed in the last 3 minutes before the auction item closes, the time will reset to 3-5 minutes to allow bidders to have enough time to see the “outbid notification,” login and re-bid if they choose.
e.) After the last auction item ends, LM Treasure Trove will automatically charge the card on file for any winning items, plus the buyers premium (15%) and tax if applicable. If buyers card is declined, buyer has 24 hours to resolve the unpaid balance. An email will be sent with a link to resolve the unpaid balance online. If balance is not paid, and no contact has been made by the buyer, any future bidding on our auctions will be banned.
f.) IMPORTANT: Within 24 hours after auction close, we will send out a link through text and/or email to sign up for a pickup date and time. Click the link to sign up for a pickup date and time. We understand that our pickup days and times are sometimes limited. If the dates and times do not work for your schedule, please reach out to (313) 418-7459 (business line) or (313) 378-0930 (Matt) and we will make every effort to schedule a convenient time for you.
g.) Stock photos – stock photos are sometimes used to show a product for sale. We try to include a photo of the actual item being sold. NOTE: even though a stock photo is used, please be sure to view ALL photos and read the entire item description BEFORE placing a bid. An item may have a defect that would be shown in those photos or explained in the item description.
AUCTION PICKUP:
a.) Pickup address: 12148 Dix Toledo Rd., Southgate, MI 48195. (cross streets – Goddard & Dix Toledo – right across the street from Value World.)
b.) Upon arrival, check in at the front desk and we will have your items ready for you. If you have a secondary pickup person, please make sure we are notified with the name of the person picking up your items.
c.) LM Treasure Trove employees are not responsible for loading items. Please bring appropriate help if needed for loading larger items.
d.) Auction items are expected to be picked up within 30 days of auction close. After 30 days, auction items that have not been picked up are considered abandoned and re-sold. Refunds are not given for abandoned items.
RETURN POLICY: We make every effort to test, assemble, and/or make sure all hardware and parts are included with the items we sell prior to listing the item. No returns accepted. If an item is defective or damaged, you have 7 days to report it and/or return it to LM Treasure Trove to receive a refund.
SHIPPING: We do NOT offer shipping at this time.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By registering for this auction you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. This is a legal binding contract between you as the bidder and LM Treasure Trove, LLC.
1. Item condition: the bidder acknowledges all items are sold as-is and where-is. LM Treasure Trove makes no guarantee as to the condition or usability to the items up for auction. LM Treasure Trove will make its best effort to label items with accurate descriptions. As the bidder, you will not hold LM Treasure Trove responsible for any items that are broken, damaged, and/or defective. If an item is broken, damaged, or defective, please let us know within 14 business days of auction end so we can resolve the issue. After 14 days, we will not consider any returns for a damaged or defective item.
2. Loading items: The buyer agrees to load purchased items. LM Treasure Trove and its staff members are not responsible for loading small and/or large items into vehicles or trailers. Please bring appropriate help and/or vehicle upon pickup.
3. Picking up: The bidder agrees to pick up the items on time and pick up all items listed on their invoice within the timeframe given in the auction listing. Buyers can sign up for allotted pickup times after the auction has closed. Please be sure to review the pickup dates and times before bidding to ensure you are able to pick up your items. If you are unable to pickup your items during the given pickup dates and times, please contact the auction house as soon as possible to schedule a date and time for pickup. If auction items are not picked up, we will reach out to you via phone, text, and/or email to schedule a date and time. Abandoned auction items will be forfeited back to the auction house 30 days after auction end.
4. Payment: Bidder agrees to pay for the entire invoice in full. Once the auction ends, LM Treasure Trove will charge the card on file for all auction items won by the buyer. If payment fails, LM Treasure Trove will reach out to the buyer to confirm payment details. Buyer agrees to pay invoice in full Failure to pay for your entire invoice will result in the auction house taking legal action against the full invoice amount plus any other storage or removal fees, and buyers may be terminated from bidding in future auctions. If you prefer to pay cash at pickup, you MUST notify LM Treasure Trove at least 24 hours before the auction closes so we can notate the account as a cash buyer.
5. Buyers premium & Sales Tax: The bidder understands that each item up for auction will have a buyers premium of 15% added to the price of each item. When placing a bid please take the buyers premium into account and bid accordingly. Michigan 6% sales tax will be charged on each item due to Michigan law.
6. Text Messaging Services: LM Treasure Trove may send reminder text messages to bidders about auction information to the phone number registered. You are responsible for all carrier charges and data. By registering, you agree to receiving text message and/or email alerts regarding auction invites and reminders from LM Treasure Trove, LLC. Your personal information will not be shared for use with any other company. To opt out of text messages, simply reply STOP if you receive an unwanted message and we will discontinue any further messaging.
7. Info Changes: The bidder agrees to notify LM Treasure Trove know of any changes regarding contact information or credit card/payment information as soon as the bidder knows.
8. Bidding Errors / Software Malfunctions: In the event you have made an error bidding, the bidder must contact the auction houses immediately. Bidding errors cannot be fixed after the bidding has closed on those items. If you have made a bidding error on the last day of the auction, we may not be able to fix those issues as we may not see your request prior to the auction closing. In the event we cannot fix the issues on the last day of the auction, you will be responsible to pay your invoice amount. LM Treasure Trove will not assume any bid is an error. In the event there is a software malfunction, the bidder will not hold LM Treasure Trove accountable. Buyers will not be refunded for any bidding error that is not the result of a software malfunction.
9. If the bidder has won an auction, LM Treasure Trove will notify the buyer via email of the auction items won after auction closes. In the event the bidder won an item at the auction and did not receive this email, contact the auction house at: (313) 418-7459. 12. Buyers agree to not conduct a credit card dispute in the event that LM Treasure Trove charges your card and you do not pick up your items. In the event that the buyer disputes a credit card transaction, buyer agrees to pay a $200.00 fee to cover the costs incurred to take legal action against buyer.
13. Buyer understands that unpaid invoices, abandoned items, refusal to pickup, or inappropriate behavior will result in negative feedback given through the AuctionFlex and HiBid platform and may result in being blocked from bidding.

HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Browse our items
Step 2: Register to bid if you like an item and want to bid!
Step 3: The first auction item closes at 7pm on Sunday night! Check back Sunday to see if you won, or re-bid if desired!
Step 4: If you win an item, we will contact you via text/email to pick up your items in Southgate. We do pickups a couple days a week, and pickup days vary. If the pickup dates or times do not work for your schedule, we offer alternate pickup dates and times upon request! After the last auction item ends, the credit card on file with HiBid will be charged the amount of the item, plus our buyers premium of 15% and any applicable tax on your items. Please note: if card is declined we will reach out via email for payment.
