Description & Details
Sunday is half off day! We still have soooooo much!
We are honored to have been selected to present the special collections of three generations of the Leelanau County Moore family at their historic Cold Brook Farm home. The setting could not be more gorgeous and the items… one more unique than the next.
Here you will find:
•Furniture- from primitive through antique, plus a little MCM and forward (tables big and small, chairs, hard and soft, cabinets for the stuff you’ll buy here, cases for the stuff you bought somewhere else, still hiding from your husband in your trunk, dressers for clothes (or whatever… none of our business), desks for writing at or just there to make you look studious, beds (well, beds are just beds aren’t they), pie safes full of goodies (also we love pie, just saying) and more!
•Art and decor- think folksy, fun original oils and watercolors lit by lamps of all eras, tall and short, mirrors to admire yourself in, mirrors so old you look less (or more) old in; clocks that tell time, clocks that chime, clocks that just look pretty on your wall or mantle or THAT desk!
•Recreational fun- hunting items (bows- Fred Bear! Also gear, apparel, decoys, knives, but not things that go boom, (we don’t ever sell those); fishing stuff- here is the GOLDMINE: vintage lures, original old boxes, reels, rods, creels, minnow buckets- the whole, old school bit, yep…it’s nearly 100 years old good! Vintage snowmobile goodness- helmets, local northern Michigan race buttons, snowmobile, magazines, patches, hats, brochures, and more! Oh, you like hitting the links? We have a literal CADDY SHACK full of hundreds of clubs and balls. It’s none of our business, but Aspen Colorado might be missing a sign and a few generations have outgrown their vintage skis and 1990s hats from the slopes. Into baseball? Well, we have a whole separate paragraph for that….
•Roar! Tiger’s fans unite (we’ll be there next year and so will you (in some Detroit memorabilia). Our client just told us about all of his antics at spring training. Four boys growing up on a farm…sandlot baseball was a big thing before electronics.
•Electronics-we have those too! Ok, not many, but we have the vintage radios to listen to baseball games and music!
•Music- did we mention this sale is multigenerational? From big band to bopper, Elvis to Cash, Wayland to to ELO, Sinatra to Stevens (Cat), it’s all here. Plus things to play them on.
•Play stuff- vintage games, toys, plushies and more!
There is sooo much here words cannot possibly describe. So much we have not even photographed… speaking of photos, our Elizabeth, curator at The Leelanau Historical Society spent the week researching this family here will present an amazing historical account of the history of Perrin’s Landing and surrounding areas as you shop!
Get here, it’s THE BIG ONE!
