Bi-level house on the corner of East and North Long Lake roads near Moomers ice cream was formerly home to the long time manager of multiple Standard Oil plants in Northern Michigan who, after retirement became a certified Master Gardener. Throughout his life he was a successful hunter and fisherman (with a talent for fly tying). He and his wife (high school sweethearts from Three Rivers, Mi) were locally renowned as proprietors of the Flower House Bed and Breakfast at this home, where an enviable crop of flowers was sold to the public from their pole barn on the property....
