You know we have to get the rules out of the way before we get onto the fun things, so here we go:

1)  There is NO PUBLIC RESTROOM available at this sale, please plan accordingly.

2)  Certain areas of the house will be closed off to the public.  So please pay attention to the signs.  If the sign says DO NOT ENTER NOTHING FOR SALE IN THIS AREA, please leave the door closed.  Let's not make this weird.

3)  You will be responsible for the removal of all items from the home, including furniture.  Should you require assistance please bring help with you to move items out of the house.  But sorry at this sale, we do not have any personnel that is going to be able to carry items out of the house.

4)  This is going to be a simply remarkable Estate Sale, and we are excited to bring it to you.

5)  Please be respectful of the pricing, we price items to sell.  We do discounts, according to what the Estate wants, again please respect the Estates decision, and the fact that we are under contract with the Estate.  If you continue to pressure us for additional discounts, above what is advertised, your items will be returned to the sales floor.

6)  Any altering of prices, for example, removing or switching price tags, will result in criminal prosecution.

7)  A lot of time and effort went into setting this wonderful sale up.  Please do be neat and respectful when looking at and putting back items.  We certainly do appreciate you!

 

And welcome to the 2026 season of Great Lakes Estate Sales!!  This one is going to be just PACKED with all kinds of great vintage and fun items.  Decades and decades of collecting are going to be available at this sale.  And we could not be more excited to bring this sale to you, and very proud that this is how we are opening our 2026 season. The house is also being offered for sale as well, so please do inquire within.  So with that being said................away we go!!

01/12/2026:  Set up started today, so please follow along on a daily basis, or at least a few times a week.  We are going to be taking it floor by floor (this ranch home, along with the basement again are PACKED!)  We have a very nice collection of Mid Century Modern Furniture, along with Mid Century Modern pieces of decor and serving pieces too.  If you are a fan of vintage drapes, we have all of them also for sale too, rods can also be included.

We have blue sets of dishes, and red sets of dishes, and clear sets of dishes, and Grandma used to have these sets of dishes, and the most extensive collection of wine, and other collectible glasses as well.

We do have lots and lots of collectible table settings, and china patterns as well.  Cat lover, we have lots and lots of cat items too, all from different eras.  Decorative and collectible items too.  Oh, and the electronics we have to offer, we have a whole room full of monitors, keyboards, DVD's, CD players and more.  Records and plenty of office supplies too.

So stay tuned we will be posting pictures tomorrow, of all the great pieces we have unearthed, and cleaned up.  So stay tuned, tomorrow we add more.

01/13/2026:  Alrighty then, pictures are up and looking good.  Few things that we do need to mention.  If you are a lover of Square Dancing, or have a hankering to start stained glass projects, we are here for you!!  We have lots of Square Dancing outfits, both men and women, along with lots of great Square Dancing items too.  We also are going to have a lot of power tools, and so much more.

Vintage toys, and vintage games, and pictures too.  Gone With the Wind fan?  We have collectible dolls, and collectible plates too.

01/17/2026:  So let's continue this saga shall we?  Pickers and scrappers, we are going to have all kinds of great times for you to pick.  We have scrap metal, scrap wood, and lots of aluminum too.  We also have in non working condition, all types of lawn mowers and snowblowers as well.  So scrappers, this sale is also for you as well.  The garage and the yard, and a good portion of the driveway are going to be a pickers paradise, as we ask is that you please take what you would like, and please do leave a small donation for the estate as well.  Again, scrappers, this is your opportunity to shine.  Again, all we ask is for a small donation.
