Hand thrown jug with green slip tin glaze, pinched spout, applied molded handle, floral motif, and date "1798" and initials "MV" about the exterior.  Crazing, losses/flakes, loss to the "N" of "Anno".  13 1/2" high.  A Set of Fourteen Maling Pottery/Cetem Ware Kitchen Canisters, c. 1900.  White cylindrical covered canisters with black lettering including sultanas, sago, rice, icing sugar, peas, currants, cherries, coffee, pepper, cream of tartar, baking soda, and saltpetre.   The majority with various stamped Cetem Ware markings.  Crazing and some flakes/damage.  Up to 8" high.A Copeland Spode "Italian" Dinner Service for Eight, Forty-Seven Pieces.  Including 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 8 square bread plates, 8 cups, 8 saucers, 2 vegetable bowls, 2 meat platters, 1 biscuit jar with handle, and 1 sauce/gravy boat with underplate.  Each with one of two styles of backstamps.  Some crazing.  Platters are 11 x 14 3/4" long and 12 3/4 x 17 3/4" long. British LustrewareAn Art Nouveau Johan Von Schwarz Enameled Ceramic Tray, Designed by Carl Sigmund Luber.  Rounded rectangular tray set with enameled ceramic plaque that is decorated with the image of a Classical style woman with a harp, in the midst of a landscape, impressed "5098 CN" verso; set within a white metal frame with scalloped rim, pierced gallery and handles at either side, all resting on ball feet.  Carl Sigmund Luber, German, 1896–1934. Wear to the metal, especially the finish, one handle is repaired, lacks one ball foot, and crazing.  18 3/4 x 11 3/8".A Chinese Porcelain Figure of an Eagle. Rectangular form with multi-colored decoration including vibrant blue, green, yellow, and pink which adorns the single scene of a falconer in which a man is shown riding a horse, holding a bird in his left hand, with a building in the distance.  Purportedly from the Safavid Era, c.1501-1736.  Crazing and some flakes/chipping at edges.    10 x 13 1/2" high. A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile, dated 1319.  Rectangular form depicting a man fighting a winged lion, with calligraphy above and below, decorated with polychrome glaze in azure, sky blue, green, white, and pink.  Crazing evident, some chipping around edges, fine crack at upper left side.  15 3/4 x 22" high. A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile, Early Qajar Dynasty.  Rectangular form with polychrome glaze in azure, green, pink, white, and yellow and features the scene of "Koshrow Seeing Shirin Bathing".  Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925.  Crazing evident, some chipping along the edges.  20 x 16" high.A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile, Early Qajar Dynasty. Square form with lustre glaze features an interior scene with an winged figure, or angel, on horseback extending a branch to a monarch, who is also on horseback all within an interior featuring numerous other figures, perhaps advisors, contained within a border of calligraphy; most likely from the Shahnameh.  Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925.  Glued repairs, crazing evident.  14 1/2 x 14" high.A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile, Early Qajar Dynasty.  Rectangular form with multi-color glaze including azure blue, emerald green, puce, and white and portrays a Religious scene, showing a woman (possibly Shirin, the Christian wife of Khosrow II), wearing a cross pendant around her neck, administering the Eucharist to an elderly man who is kneeling before her, with attendants surrounding them.  Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925.  Crazing, some nicks/chips around the edges, small firing crack at the lower margin.  17 x 14" high.A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile, Late Qajar Dynasty.  Round form with imagery of three figures in the midst of numerous wild animals, decorated in polychrome glaze of azure, green, brown, white, yellow, and puce.  Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925.  Several glued repairs, crazing evident, areas of repair about the rim.  19 3/4" diameter. A Persian Safavid Period Kendi pouring vessel.  Elephant form with Blue/Black underglaze decoration.  Wear, glaze defects and minor damage, small flake on upper rim.  7 1/4" high overall. Four 19th century Staffordshire figures.  Depicting a woman reading, a couple holding baskets and a pair of cattle.  All with bocages, molded bodies with polychrome decoration.  All with minor damage and/or repairs to bocages, the woman (couple) has loss to the hat, the bull lacks a horn, the cow has a damaged horn and repaired tail, the reader has glued repairs to the upper bocage, some crazing.  Up to 7 3/4" high.  Five pieces of 19th century Staffordshire includes three small animals and two inkwells.   The animals are a seated Dalmatian, a Fox and a Rabbit, with a Swan and Doves inkstands.  All with molded bodies and polychrome decoration. Polychrome decoration with a foliate rim enclosing a central medallion with mythical beasts, in blue, green and pink on a white ground. Molded figure with two black robed figures in a brown pulpit with black brushed decoration. Up to 6 1/4" high.Two 19th century English Pearlware jugs with Silver lustre decoration.  One with flowers and foliage the second with Parrots in foliage.  Wear, crazing, light surface scratches, shallow edge flakes, 1/2" spout hairline in the Parrot jug, the other with some staining.  Up to 8" high.A 19th century English Canary Yellow jug with Silver lustre decoration.  Landscape vignette with a Manor house at one side with the tavern keepers motto verso "I do not know, what men to trust, Since man to man, is so unjust, I've trusted many, to my sorrow, So pay today, I'll trust tomorrow".  Wear and minor edge flaking.  6" high. Three 19th century English Pearlware items with Silver lustre decoration, one footed cup and two jugs.  All with flowers and foliage, one jug with Parrots.  Wear, crazing, light surface scratches, minor spout flakes, one jug with crack at the foot rim.  Up to 5 1/2" high. An early 19th century English Pearlware punch bowl.  Pink lustre design with enameled floral decoration and an Eastern Garden scene in the bowl.  Wear, crazing and minor loss to the enamel.  10 1/2" diameter x 5" high.An early 19th century Dixon, Austin & Co. jug with Sunderland lustre decoration.  Transfer vignette with "Farmers Arms" at one side and farmer's motto verso "Let this be held the Farmers Cried, For stock seek out the Choicest breed, In peace and plenty let them feed, Your land sow with the best of Seed, Let not dung or drefsing need, Inclose and Draine it with all speed, And you will soon be rich in Deed.  P & J Rundle".  Wear, crazing and minor edge flaking.  6" high.Two Late 19th Century French Porcelain Parrots.  Similarly designed porcelain figures of parrots, both with brightly colored feathers, perched on tree trunks that are clad with flowers, leaves, and vines.  Each with crossed arrows in blue under glaze (Bloch/Bourgeois Factory, Paris), one with retailer's mark  "Ovington New York, France" in red, over glaze.  Some chipping to leafy and floral motif, one with small chip to tip of beak, light wear to painted decoration.  8 1/4 x 14 5/8" high.A Chinese "Rose Medallion" Porcelain Covered Dish.  Rectangular form with canted corners covered dish consists of a gilt finial at the cover which is decorated, along with the interior, with alternating vignettes enclosing figures or birds and butterflies with blossoming branches, on a green scroll and pink floral ground.  Unmarked.  Light wear to the decoration, small flake to the rim of the dish and small repair to foot rim.  9 1/4 x 8 x 6" high.An 18th Century Delft Blue & White Charger.  Round, Chinoiserie decorated charger with a basket full of flowers at the well and repetitive fan and scroll motif about the rim.  Unmarked.  Frittering and numerous chips to the rim, small loss of glaze at well.  13 1/2" diameter.Royal Doulton Porcelain Figures of a Lion & a Tiger.  Each depicted on a rock, looking down.  Both with Royal Doulton mark at the underside along with artists' initials, "HN 2641 EAW" and "HN 2639 JC" respectively.  Very minor wear overall.  Up to 18 x 12 x 11" high. Two Royal Doulton Porcelain Figures of Moors.  Both figures of men, in the same pose, but of slightly different sizes; the small figure is by Charles Noke for Royal Doulton, and wears an electric blue cloak with a green belt and garment, the larger figure wears a multicolor cloak, consisting of black, red, green, blue, and yellow, a multicolor belt and reddish orange garment, with tinges of green and yellow.  Both with Royal Doulton trademark stamp, the first also with "HN 33 'An Arab'-C. J. Noke. & C. Potted by:-Doulton & Co." and the second with "The Moor" in gold at the underside.  Very minor wear overall.  16 & 17" high. Two Royal Doulton Porcelain Figures of King Charles.  Identical figures, but with varying coloration; one is  in garments primarily in blue and green and is stamped with Royal Doulton mark along with "King Charles" in gold and "PS" in black. The other has a red cloak and blue garments and is marked "King Charles HN 3459", limited edition  no. 132 of 350, artist signed and dated 1996.  The shorter with hairline crack in base, minor wear overall.  16 1/2 & 17 1/4" high.A Royal Doulton Porcelain Figure of Jack Point.  Figure depicts the Jester in thought, stamped at the underside with Royal Doulton mark along with initials "RB" and "Jack Point" in gold also impressed "007".  Very minor wear.  16" high. Three Japanese Bizen Ware Figures.  Brown pottery "Lucky god" figures include 1 figure of Hotei, shown seated with a fan, 2 figures of Eibisu, the god of plenty, one shown holding a fish and a fan, and the other shown seated beside a basket.  Wear to the glaze, Hotei with a chip on the base, the larger Eibisu figure lacks an implement from his hand and has a chipped finger, minor wear to other piece.  Up to 9" high.Two Japanese Bizen Ware Figures.  Including 1 figure of Quan Yin and 1 figure of a man with a toad with four legs, possibly a depiction of Gama Sennin.  The first figure has impressed mark, the other is signed at the base and the interior.  The figure of Quan Yin has some chipping at the base, minor wear to other piece.  Up to 12" high.  ESTIMATE $200-300     The figure of Sennin was purchased at Christie's, #714, sale 7340,  in October of 1991.A Pair of Chinese Liao Dynasty Glazed Ceramic Vases, c. 907-1125.  Each having amber glaze over white slip decoration, vases consists of a flared trumpet style rim and tapered neck and ovoid body, with double incised lines decorating the neck and shoulder.  Unmarked; "Sze Yuan Tang Collection" labels at the underside of each.  Some firing flaws to each. A Late 19th Century Galle Faience Dog.  Figure of a seated dog, with glass eyes, is painted with ornate decoration consisting of a lily motif at the back of the head, a pink body with various floral sprays, and a collar with a locket suspended from it containing a portrait of a dog.  Only marked with a black "F" in script is at the underside of one foot, and a red "H" at another.  Light wear to the decoration, firing crack evident at the interior.  12" high. A Late 19th Century Galle Faience Dog.  Figure of a seated dog, with glass eyes, creamy white body, and brow accents at the feet and head, with crackle glaze overall.  Unmarked.  Light wear to the painted decoration at the mouth, minor wear overall.  12" high.A Late 19th Century Galle Faience Cat.  Figure of a seated cat, with glass eyes, is painted with ornate floral and geometric decoration at the back of the head, a yellow body with various types of floral sprays in multiple colors, and a collar with a locket suspended from it containing a portrait of a dog.  Crazing overall, light wear to the decoration.  13" high.A 19th Century Ceramic Lion with Rockingham Glaze.  Finely molded large figure of a lion standing covered overall with a treacle colored crackle glaze.  Unmarked.  Very minor wear overall.  14 3/4 x 10 3/4" high.A Chinese Glazed Ceramic Tile.  Rectangular molded tile with Daoist Immortal in high relief shown among the clouds, holding a fly whisk in his right hand and a scroll in his left, with Fahua inspired glaze overall, in colors of eggplant, yellow, and turquoise.  Unmarked.  Damaged and repaired at the lower right corner.  Tile is 7 3/4 x 11" high, set within a modern wood frame with some damage, 10 x 12 3/4" high overall. A Late 19th to Early 20th Century Sewer Tile Frog Doorstop.  With reddish brown glaze overall, incised "RLW" at the underside.  Some firing cracks and small chips to the toes.  6 3/4 x 9 x 5 1/4" high.A Late 19th to Early 20th Century Ceramic Sculpture of an Eagle.  Depicts an Eagle with its wings spread open, covered with a brown glaze overall.  Possibly an architectural or roof ornament.  Firing cracks at the neck and chest.  19 x 10 1/2 x 22 1/2" high. A Japanese Ceramic Sculpture of Tanuki.  Glazed ceramic figure of the Folklore version of Tanuki, or a Raccoon Dog, shown wearing a hat and carrying a bottle.  Open at the base and at the back of the figure's hat.  Some small firing cracks, minor wear overall.  26" high.Two Late 19th Century Chinese Porcelain Bowls.  Light weight porcelain round bowls of tapered form with raised molded pattern at the interior, including a Greek key pattern, Chinese characters, scrolling motifs, dragons and exotic birds all under a rich emerald green glaze.  Unmarked.  One with a flake at the interior, the other with small repair and chip at the rim.  8 diameter. A Pair of Chinese Qingbai Glazed Hunpings (Funerary Covered Urns).  Each baluster form with iron brown accents and applied decoration consisting of a  dragon, a small figure and a bird on one and a tiger, small figure, and dog on the other; both with dome form covers, surmounted by bird form finials.  Most likely from the late Southern Song (960-1279) or Yuan Dynasty (1279–1368).  Some chips to each, one with repaired finial.  5 1/2" diameter, up to 14" high.A Japanese Kutani Porcelain Vase.  Enamel decorated vase with bluebird, blossom, and leaf motif contained within a bamboo fence about the whole.  Fuku mark at the underside.  Some crazing overall.  9 3/4" high.A 19th Century Chinese Edo Period Glazed Ceramic Figure of a Shishi.  Kyoto ware figure of a seated Shishi, or Foo Dog, with white crackle glaze overall is depicted with gilt eyes and mouth agape, revealing white teeth and red gums and tongue.  Unmarked.  Some firing cracks evident at the underside, minor roughness to the front lower teeth and tongue.  14" high.A Japanese Ceramic Figure of a Deity.  Dark brown stoneware figure of Bishamon (Bishamonten) the god of fortune in wars and battles, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan, is shown holding a spear in his right hand and a pagoda in his left.  Very minor wear overall.  18 1/2" high. A Japanese Porcelain Meiji Period "Bijin" Figure.  Polychrome enamel decorated porcelain figure of a beautiful young woman, dressed in an elaborate kimono with geometric and cherry blossom motifs with gilt accents overall.  Unmarked.  Head has been repaired, firing cracks at the underside and wear to gilt decoration.  18" high. A Mid 19th Century Japanese Satsuma Porcelain Kogo, c.1850.  Covered figural box in the form of a rotund Okame clothed in richly decorated clothes covered in patterns of scrolls and geometric motifs with gilt accents and crackle glaze overall.  Signed at the underside in two lines, in red calligraphy.  Light wear to the painted decoration, minor flake to the interior rim of the base.  3" high.A 19th Century Japanese Edo Period Tokkuri.  White porcelain Tokkuri with molded bas relief decoration consisting of two panels containing images of Shishi (foo lions) and the other two panels with motifs of dragons and tigers, with glazed flower designs accenting each panel, and scrollwork about the neck and between the panels.  Unmarked.  Light wear overall, areas of separation and firing cracks noted on each panel.  10 1/2" high.Two 19th century English Pearlware mugs with Pink lustre decoration and enameled detail.  All with flowers and foliage the smaller probably an engagement gift reads "Andrew Anderson & Bell Young".  Wear, crazing, light surface scratches, minor spout flakes, the larger with two shallow flakes under foot rim and a small flake/hairline at the molded base.  Up to 6" high.Three 19th century English Pearlware jugs with Pink lustre decoration.  Molded bodies with enamel decoration.  Includes a Satyr Mask jug, another with Hunting dogs and the third with a couple walking.  Wear, crazing, loss to the enamel.  Up to 7 1/4" high.  Two Chinese Porcelain Covered Jars.  Each covered cylindrical vessel with loop handle at the top consists of a white ground that is decorated with gilt accents, pink flowers, leafy branches, peaches; bat and butterfly motifs with fine, twisted metal handles at either side.  Unmarked.  Some wear to the decoration, one with minute flaw to the rim of the cover, the other with a few small flakes to the rim.  7 3/4" high.Two 19th Century Chinese Export Porcelain Plates.  Each decorated with gilt rims and a multicolored enamel border consisting of parrots, flowers, and geometric patterns which contain scenes at the wells which depict exterior scenes showing figures in various pursuits.   Wear to the decoration, one of the plates with a lack of glaze/decoration at one portion (near the flying bird).  9 5/8" diameter. Three 19th century English Pearlware jugs with Pink/Silver lustre decoration.  Two with paneled bodies and enamel decoration flowers and foliage and another with landscape vignettes.  Wear, crazing, light surface scratches, the Pink/Green jug with a large crack at the side and staple repair at the handle, the other paneled jug with hairlines and a glued repair at the spout.  Up to 6" high.
