We have another super auction planned for Chisago City!
This auction will consist of gold and silver U.S. coins including $2.50 Indianhead gold pieces, Morgan Carson City mint and other silver dollars, early Capped Bust type coins, commemorative silver halves, silver quarters including Seated Liberty types, all types of dimes and half-dimes, Shield, Liberty and Buffalo nickels, three cent and two cent pieces, large cents including an 1802, 1812 & 1817. Lots of Indianheads, Flying Eagles, Wheat cents and even two half-cent coins. Several very nice foreign & ancient coins have been included in this sale. From the shipwreck Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion we have a Spanish colonial silver 8 reale mounted in an 18K gold bezel. It was minted in Potosi, Bolivia in 1635 and went down off Saipan in 1638. Comes with a letter of authenticity. Also offered is a 1797 British Cartwheel copper, a 1782 Colonial silver 1 reale, a lot of 4 ancient Roman bronze coins and an ancient silver Roman Numerian coin from 282-284 A.D.
WW1 and WW2 military helmets, crusher style visor caps, bayonets, fighting knives, U.S. Waltham 17J trench watch, medals including an enameled "Sieg Heil" German pin and patches. German, Russian, Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese, U.S. and British. Included is a very nice German Bavarian M1915 Artillery Pickelhaube Spiked helmet and a Luftschutz three-piece Gladiator style Air Raid Warning Service helmet in blue.
We also picked up a super nice selection of gold and silver jewelry. English Victorian gold rings, large sterling silver men's rings, lots of women's sterling rings, bracelets, earrings, pins, pendants, compacts, Elgin 15J watch and the largest single piece of Navajo turquoise that we have ever offered at auction!
Also included in this sale will be some vintage beer advertising signs, Meerschaum pipe and cigar holder, cast iron items including a "Handy Hog Holder", hunting knives, prints, chalkware carnival prizes, autographed Minnesota Twins baseball cards, Civil War grape shot recovered from the Gettysburg area (legally), a few poison and apothacary bottles, Ridgid 3300PSI pressure washer with 7hp Suburu motor(like new) and a Homelite chain saw with 16" bar (like new) and more.
