Registration: Welcome to CTBIDS! If you are new to our site, you will need to register to place a bid. To register, click the Registration button in the menu bar at the top and type in all required information. Then you may sign in and bid. Bidding: You must be signed in to your account to place a bid. Our auction site is designed to replicate a live auction. When bids are placed near the close of an item, extra time is added to allow all bidders a chance to win the item. If identical bids are placed on an item, the first person to place their bid will be awarded the item if it is the high bid. Don't forget that you can place a maximum bid and the system will bid automatically and incrementally for you up to your maximum.
Payment: Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and must be paid by NOON THE FOLLOWING DAY. To pay your invoice, log into your account on CTBIDS and locate your unpaid invoice under the My Account screen. Click "checkout". Then click the button at the top to pay via PayPal. You may pay with a PayPal account or with a debit/credit card as a PayPal guest. An automated email from "CTBIDS No Reply" will be sent to the email address on file once the auction has ended.*If you do not receive a copy of your invoice, please follow the payment instructions above to access and pay your invoice.
Pick-up: The full address for pick-up will be on winning bidders' invoices. You MUST bring all necessary help, vehicles, materials, tools, etc. for lifting, dismantling, and loading won items. Bring boxes and/or bags for carrying and transporting your items. We do NOT have extra boxes and bags for bidders to keep. Please be prepared with these items at pickup. Some items may be located on second floor, basement or out-building. Staff is not authorized to assist at pick-ups. Please do not bid on things that you cannot pickup.
Shipping: Shipping is available on MOST items (lot will be noted as shippable) only at buyer's request and expense (no furniture, rugs, or other large items). There is a $10 handling fee per lot. Shipping fees are determined and communicated by UPS. Please see our Shipping Terms for more details.
Terms: All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. All sales are final. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase and a winning bid is a contract between you and the seller. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold with no refund. Non-payment of your invoice by the payment deadline or non-attendance at the pick-up may result in bidder account suspension or deactivation. A 18% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced. We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS and where is. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate.
Delivery Policy:
Agreement Between Our Customer and Karing Hent Moves or Karing Hent Transitions DBA: Caring Transitions Twin Cities Central
ASSEMBLY AND DELIVERY: Delivery cannot be canceled after phone confirmation, and should be received in the time frame given to the customer, if the customer is not present to receive the goods, a RE-DELIVERY charge will be applicable in order to make the delivery again on another date. Our drivers will place your furniture where you want it one time. We cannot move existing furniture nor dispose of it. We will NOT SETUP attaching mirror supports, reversing drawer hardware, or assembling beds and dining room tables. We are not equipped to dust, hang mirrors on walls, level furniture on carpet, or cut bed slats. If upon placing the furniture in your home, it is found to be too difficult to maneuver a piece of furniture in narrow halls, doorways, or stairwells, then we will or cannot be responsible for any damages to furniture, floors, or walls. Note that if your home is not accessible to our truck, or is above the second floor without access to an elevator it will be your responsibility to provide a means of transportation from the truck to your home. To ensure the safety of our drivers, Karing Hent Moves or Karing Hent Transitions will determine if they will make deliveries during hazardous weather conditions.
DAMAGED MERCHANDISE: The customer is responsible for inspecting the merchandise upon receipt and must communicate in any visible damage from delivery before signing the invoice. Damaged items must be packed in their original boxes and returned at the delivery time with the same delivery truck. This means the item must be returned at the time of delivery. We will NOT RETURN to pick up the item.
WARRANTY: None. ALL ITEMS are purchased AS IS.
CANCELLATION & RETURN: All orders are not refundable and cannot be canceled under any circumstances. Furniture must be claimed and in the customer's possession after 15 days of arrival to the warehouse distribution center. If the furniture is not claimed within the allotted time or arrangements have not been made, storage charges not to exceed 10% of the total purchase on a monthly calculation will apply.
OTHERS: Customer voluntarily assumes all risk of accident when using any product on this order and agree to release of liability and forever discharge Karing Hent Moves or Karing Hent Transitions of any and all claims, demands, or suits which have arisen or may arise as a result of the use of any product. In the event, Karing Hent Moves or Karing Hent Transitions takes legal action concerning the terms of this agreement. Whether or not the matter proceeds to judgment, Karing Hent Moves or Karing Hent Transitions shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and out-of-pocket costs incurred.

BASE DELIVERY FEE begins at $130 for first item.

Additional Large/Medium furniture items Area Rugs, side tables, nightstands are an additional $30

Smaller Items (grocery bags, totes, storage bins) $ 5

Delivery can be made into the home with the understanding that we WILL NOT be responsible for ANY damages to the home.

Delivery will be offered to the greater metro area. Additional trip fees might be included if you are outside the Twin Cities Metro Area.

Delivery schedule is created based on our route and can take up to 21 business days to execute.
