Three words to describe this sale: VARIETY, QUALITY, PACKED!

Structural Designer, artist, musician Casey Goldberg has retired and is heading south!  We’re helping liquidate her household and considerable collections! Some highlights of the sale are:

ORIGINAL ART, POTTERY, ART GLASS – We are selling many pieces of original fine art, including two signed Czoernig etchings, great pottery including Gruchalla and beautiful art glass pieces both purchased from other artisans and made by Goldberg herself!

FENTON STRETCH GLASS and DÉCOR - You’ll love the large collection of one-of-a-kind Fenton stretch glass, including iridescent blue and purple pieces. The star of the collection is the 90^th Anniversary Fenton Glass Nude Nymph Flower Frog and Lotus Bowl! Other standouts include artist signed blown glass vases and vessels and a collection of miniatures, too.

APPAREL and JEWELRY - You’ll find a closet full of great ladies apparel, outerwear and footwear, including a pair of black Steger Mukluks! There is good fashion jewelry, some custom made by Casey, as well as a large group of jewelry making supplies, beads and findings, including dozens of sterling silver chains.  Great hats and scarves, plus 100+ vintage neckties in the garage!

COLLECTIBLES -- Other collections include Harry Potter, Star Wars and Dr. Who items, as well as a very large group of CDs and VHS and a few DVDs. Check out the Shawnee Little Red Riding Hood set! It includes a cookie jar, tea pot, S/P set and cream and sugar, all priced separately.

MUSIC AND INSTRUMENTS - Casey is an accomplished musician and there are boxes of sheet music and music books for sale, as well as two acoustic guitars and many clarinets, some working, but most for decorative use. The 19^th century French clarinet made of boxwood and ivory is by Noblet! There’s even a pair of lamps made from clarinets – super cute!

FURNITURE and CARPETS – We are selling all categories of furniture from antique to current pieces and some fun shabby chic, too. Look for the three-piece, custom built dark wood bookcase – two pieces are in the main living room and one in the office. We’re selling two beautiful tall boy antique dressers – one is four-drawer, waterfall-front, walnut Art Deco piece with Bakelite pulls! The other is chest-on-chest style with numerous large and small drawers, also with different wood detail on the front! And they are both in great condition! You’ll also find an antique barrister bookcase and a mission oak library desk! We’re selling a pair of cream-colored nightstands, a pair of wing back chairs, a pair of parson’s chairs, a pair of modern floor lamps with multiple lights and shades and three bar chairs. You’ll find a mahogany drop-leaf dining table set in the basement and a cute miniature mahogany chest, too. There’s a primitive  four-drawer cabinet in the kitchen and a hall table, too. We’re also selling a double size mattress and box spring bed and a like-new side chair that reclines with electric control. Anyone with large collections of their own should take a look at the beautiful display case in the living room. It’s a top-quality dark wood piece with glass shelves and built-in lighting. There are several rugs and carpets throughout the home including braided rugs and a large dark green area rug but, the best of all is the beautiful Berber kilim rug she purchased in Morocco – gorgeous colors and exceptionally durable! With all the other small side tables, lamps, shelves and cabinets there’s something for everyone!

HOUSEHOLD – There is a nice set of Revereware for sale in the cute kitchen, as well sets of Oneida flatware and many other kitchen necessities and glassware. Look for the cute yellow step stool, electric heaters, as well as home linens throughout the sale.

LAWN and GARDEN and GARAGE – In the garage you’ll find our displays of power and hand tools, including a grinder, small drill press and several Dremel sets and accessories. We’re selling task lamps, home hardware, six metal shelving units and an electric chain saw, as well. Lawn and garden items include many rakes and shovels, an electric hedge trimmer, two wheelbarrows, a green garden seat on wheels and several tall tiki torches.

SMALLS and SPECIALTIES – Casey collected antique smalls we’re selling everything from marbles to tiny toy cars and dishes to jewelry and tiny figurines! Of special note is the collection of 100+ miniature pocketknives of all different varieties! Two very interesting items are the small, Roman glass vials or vases. They are 2000-year-old archeological pieces from the mid-east found intact! You’ll find books and ephemera in the basement, and throughout the home you’ll fine Judaica items such as games, book, knick-knacks, décor and many skull caps.
