Shoes off, please, as you shop this beautiful home full of classic furniture, but also one very special piece – a 1436 late Gothic period carved oak throne chair from Europe! 700 years old! It is a one-of-a-kind, over the top tour de force of carving with a north wind figure on the crest, four pastoral panels and grotesque figureheads! In an east or west coast shop it would fetch up to $5,000! What a fabulous addition to your collection or even your man cave (or she shack?) at $2,800!
There are many more impressive antiques from which to choose, as well, including a wonderful carved trunk that’s been used as a fireplace wood box! You’ll want to check out the five antique words, including ones from the 1800’s, Civil War and medieval periods, as well as a dagger and a battle ax. And look for the French inspired Ansonia clock with the beautiful carving and the figures on the sides!
