Auctioneer's Notes
Let's have some fun with an old tacklebox reveal.
AAA Auction's crack cleanout staff recently unearthed an old metal tackle box that was put on a shelf in an old and very full garage decades ago. They opened the box just long enough to make sure it wasn't full of nuts and bolts. It was indeed full of fishing tackle that will be sold on this site. Our owner, Tony, hasn't seen the contents at all. So just for fun we invite you to join Tony as he opens and digs through the tacklebox live on AAA Auction's Facebook page at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28.
Please update your contact info.
Sometimes we need to call our bidders, so we would appreciate it if everyone would please take a moment and update all their contact info. Simply click on "Account" on our home page and make sure everything is current. Thank you.
It never fails.
Every week we hear from some of our bidders that they missed getting something they wanted. I thought I'd share with you some of the reasons we have heard why the bidder missed out:
- I fell asleep.
- I bid on the wrong lot.
- I had to let the dog out.
- I forgot the auction was closing.
- I forgot that I was bidding on that.
- I was bidding on two different auctions at the same time.
We always tell people that the way to avoid missing out on an item is to place a maximum bid on the item before the auction ends.
What we Sell
You will notice that we sell everything from "Who would ever bid on that?" to "Wow, I wish I could afford to bid on that." That's because we not only take great consignments like guns, coins, antiques, tools, and collectibles, but we also buy or are hired to clean out whole estates, in which case we get a lot of junk along with the good stuff. You never know what you'll find at a AAA auction.
