Geologic Specimens a/k/a Rocks.
The interesting and unusual rocks in this auction were all collected by an amateur geologist who over many decades traveled often to South Dakota and beyond in search of rare, beautiful, and interesting rocks, fossils, minerals, or other types of ore. The specimens in this auction were all in his collection. Any identifications we provided are descriptions that we obtained from Google Lens and are not guaranteed to be correct.
Box Lots
This auction as well as the auctions coming up will have a lot of box lots. We fill up those lots with so much stuff it will be impossible to list all the good items in the lot. So, we encourage you to enlarge and check out the photos. Who knows? We may have missed a good thingamajig that only you will discover.
Firearms
Bring a case. Guns must be cased when leaving the Auction Barn, so please bring any case you need. All state and federal rules apply, including needing a purchase or carry permit to purchase a handgun or AR. Credit cards and debit cards are not accepted for your arms purchases. Cash, money order, bank transfer, or pre-approved checks are required for firearms purchases. Also, please note that the person to whom we will be transferring the firearm must be the registered winning bidder.
Loading
AAA does not load purchases. Please bring your own muscle. If, however, we do help you load, we will ask you to make a donation into our charitable tip jar, which will be used for local charitable purposes.
Pickup Procedure
Please drive to the left of the Auction Barn. Park there. Come in and pay. Then drive around the barn and park again when you get to the front of the barn, where your items will be brought out to you.
Late Pickups
If you cannot pick up your items on the scheduled day, you must call us during the scheduled pickup time and pay for them with a credit card or you will lose your bidding privileges. When you call, you will be asked to schedule a pickup time on the following Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday morning. No late fees will be charged if you pick up your item on one of those days. Pickups at any other time or day will result in a minimum $10 fee.
