*I will be offering the antique quilts from the Snyder Estate Sale for presale beginning on Sunday evening, October 16th. These beautiful quilts need new homes and I wanted to give collectors both locally and nationally the opportunity to buy these amazing pieces of Americana. Hello and Happy Fall!

I hope you have been able to get out and enjoy the wonderful fall weather we have experienced lately. I took a small break from sales to get caught up at home and in my gardens, but I am excited to return for some amazing estate sales before the end of the year.

My next sale is for the Snyder family of NE Rochester, MN. Gayle Snyder, who passed away in July, was an educator who loved children. Throughout her lifetime, she collected a fabulous array of antiques and primitives as well as beautiful contemporary furniture and décor pieces. She also had an eye for fashion, which is evidenced by a stellar variety of designer clothes, shoes, accessories and jewelry. As her obituary notes, she put “Martha Stewart to shame with her decorating skills”! In her passing, she was reunited with her beloved husband, Mike, an IBM Distinguished Engineer who passed away in 2008, and Stella, her dog. 

In addition to the items mentioned above, other sale highlights include a fabulous collection of antique quilts, including many early red/green quilts and a stunning Princess Feather variant quilt; firkin buckets and antique hand woven baskets; crocks and stoneware; furniture by makers such as La-Z-Boy, JUNO, Henredon, Sam Moore/Hooker, D.R. Kincaid and others; beautiful paintings and artwork; a full kitchen including antique mixing bowls and vintage copper molds; a shell collection; a teddy bear collection; Dyson vacuum cleaners; fabulous holiday décor for fall and Christmas; and so, so, so much more!
