This magnificent home was built in 1889 by Cass Gilbert, a prominent architect, who also designed the Minnesota State Capitol.  It is a stately brownstone with four floors and incredible woodwork.  The floors are solid, quarter-sawn oak, the many fireplaces feature marble and oak dental work.  The carefully crafted ceilings are works of art.  The doors in the home are solid oak and feature brass or sterling doorknobs. It represents a by-gone era of craftsmanship and quality construction.

The home's owner is downsizing and will spending part of her time out-of-state.
