Below are the main categories of items for sale and a few highlights.   The house and garage are full of great things!

2002 Dodge Caravan - $3,800

The vehicle we are selling for this estate is a silver, 2002 Dodge Grand Sport Caravan, four-door minivan. It has been well maintained and has only 65,670 original miles on it. The VIN number is 2B4GP44R92R558218. The interior is dark grey with 7 passenger seating. It has a V6, 3.3-liter engine, automatic transmission with dual air bags. It has front and rear A/C, power steering, power doors, power locks, power windows, cruise control and tilt wheel.

This vehicle is ONLY available for sale AT THE ESTATE SALE, April 22 - 23. The first person at the sale willing to pay the asking price of $3,800 gets it. However, while it is available for sale you may attempt to purchase it for less than our asking price. To do this you must place a reasonable, written, silent bid and put it in the bid box by the checkout area. If the vehicle hasn't sold for our asking price by the end of the sale (5:00 pm Sunday), we will review the bids to determine the high bidder and contact that person. Your bid is a contract. Do not bid if you do not intend to purchase the vehicle should you be the high bidder. See the cashiers for bid rules and bid slips, or read our policy on our website.

Furniture and Décor

There are three double and queen size beds, many dressers, night stands, sofas, sofa beds, upholstered chairs, numerous end and cocktail tables. The mahogany dining table has four chairs, several leaves and a matching buffet. The homeowner used a set of four better folding chairs for additional seating and we’re selling those, too. Other items for sale include a round, wood kitchen table set, a leather sofa and love seat, area rugs, marble top tables, book cases, wall art, lamps, décor and lots of shabby chic!

Household and Kitchen

There’s a large set of classy, white Crate and Barrel dishes, as well as large set of stainless flatware. You’ll find good knives, much bakeware, Pyrex, pots and pans. We’re selling a Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum cleaner and other floor cleaning units. Examples of some of the small household appliances for sale include a toaster oven, coffee grinder, crock pots, fans, portable heaters and two inflatable sleep mattresses. The washer and dryer are available for sale, as well as a newer freezer. Other general household items include file cabinets, storage cabinets, stools, linens, bedding and homemade quilts.

Garage, Lawn and Garden

We’re selling a Craftsman 24 inch, 5 hp snow blower, a Lawn Chief lawn mower, a shop vac and three wheel barrows and lawn carts. Other lawn and garden equipment includes hedge clippers, branch cutters, a weed whacker, shovels, rakes, flower pots, lawn ornaments, yard art and many bird feeders. The outside patio contains a round, concrete patio table with three benches, and the garage and basement contain various hand and power tools, electrical and plumbing hardware, light fixtures and Coleman lanterns.

Electronics, Books, Music and Health Aids

There’s a lot for sale in this category! Items include a set of all-weather patio speakers, two Kindles, a Selsi telescope and tripod and an Electrobrand weather receiver. You’ll many pieces of vintage technology such as a movie camera, film and slide projectors and a splicing unit and numerous e cameras including a Canon EOS Rebel K2 with a 28-90 Canon zoom lens. Other vintage items include three typewriters, numerous AM/FM radio/tape players, a vintage GE transceiver set and a Magnavox turntable. The basement is where you’ll find all the music albums and the upstairs bedrooms have bookcases full of great books.  We’re also selling a large Toshiba HDTV, a Casio CT-636 keyboard and a Sears Pro-Form Cross Walk treadmill. Computer equipment includes an HP desk top computer, a monitor and an HP laptop, as well. We are also selling a Light Relief Infrared pain relief device, a like-new twin size hospital bed, a wheel chair and numerous canes.

China Crystal and Silver

The lead crystal is beautiful, as well as the many pieces of silver plate, the formal set of china and flatware and serving pieces. Choose from among the many collectible plates, figurines, pretty glassware and a gorgeous pair of silver candelabra. Dorothy loved peacocks and you’ll find many pieces of glassware and décor with this design.

Apparel and Accessories

You’ll find a wide variety of men’s and women’s apparel in medium and large sizes in the upstairs bedrooms, as well as in the basement. Look for the collection of men’s hats and caps, jeans, shirts and classy men’s wool and cashmere topcoats and down jackets. Women’s wear also includes loads of sweatshirts, pants, coats and jackets in current and vintage styles, including two fur coats and some evening gowns.

Smalls and Specialty

This category includes advertising items such as pens, pencils, pin backs, lighters, tie clips, cuff links, key chains, tape measures, hats and plates with the Reserve Mining logo or other industrial company logos. We’re also selling a Nishijin Super Deluxe Japanese pachinko pinball machine in great condition! There are two twin sized Hudson’s Bay Point blankets, many vintage pin backs, old yearbooks and two world globes also for sale. You’ll also find WWII photos and a large album of photos of deer. Dorothy was an avid photographer and made greeting cards out of many of her photos – we are selling various papers, craft scissors and equipment used in this process. She also did a lot of sewing and crafts and there are boxes of fabric, thread, patterns, craft projects and notions for sale, as well as a rock tumbler!

Jewelry

What fun, pretty costume jewelry we’ve got for you! You’ll find it in the main check out area and it includes both ladies and men’s watches and men’s cuff links and tie bars. Other jewelry items include numerous pins and broaches, necklaces and earrings.

Holiday Toys and Dolls

There is a large selection of holiday décor and linens for sale, mostly in the upstairs bedrooms. You’ll also find dolls and gnomes and various kids toys.
