If "vintage" is your passion, here is the sale you've been waiting for: a Saint Patrick's Day pot-of-gold, brimming with vintage items of every shape, size, and kind. This bungalow in Ballwin is packed with many great treasures including many mid-century modern furniture pieces and lamps. In the living room is a Hollywood regency style love seat and coffee table, fanciful carved french leg Shoninger spinet piano, Crown oak and black walnut grandfather clock, and a solid wood, lighted curio cabinet over six feet tall filled with bird figurines by Andrea. The bedroom contains a nine drawer dresser by Caldwell, a queen size headboard and footboard of solid wood and a mattress and box springs, many pairs of size 6 women's shoes, many name brand purses and handbags, size small and medium men's casual shirts and casual pants. There's even a vintage Brownie uniform from the early 1970's. The gentleman was a prominent draftsman and designer for the Defense Mapping Agency in St. Louis and so has many fine drafting tools, stencils, and drawing implements in a magnificent Thomasville desk with matching book cases. He worked closely with the famous St. Louis artist John Pils. There are many works throughout the house by Mr. Pils including posters, lithographs, and Christmas ornaments about half signed by the artist. Included in the art is an autographed copy of "Etchings & Drawings" by another famous St. Louis artist, Siegfried Reinhardt. 

The light oak dining room table and six chairs are manufactured by Bassett. The table has two leaves. Pads are included. Two side boards are intricately carved after an English foliage motif.

An eclectic collector, this sale includes German and English soldier helmets from both wold wars. There are several styles you will recognize from all of those old war movies, including two pickelhaubes (the German helmet from World War I with the spike on top). There is also a unique and interesting brass helmet with large flowing bat-like wings. Another collection includes air and gas powered pellet guns, a Higgins shotgun, and a Springfield Stevens .22 rifle. 

The house is loaded with serving pieces for both formal and casual entertaining, including g a punch service, some Sterling a many plated service pieces. Glassware by Imperial Glass, Duncan Miller, Heisy, and Chantilly. There are many old cut glass and lead crystal serving pieces.
