* Space MemorabiliaApollo Space program photographs, autographs and other artifacts that were collected our client who is the late John F. Yardley who Pioneer unmanned space mission to Jupiter.Yardley (1925-2001) A leading figure in the early days of human spaceflight.  Mr. Yardley was an aerospace engineer with McDonnell Aircraft Corporation, working on manned space flight projects from the 1950s. He was NASA's Associate Administrator for Space Flight (1974-1981) David Darling Space Shuttle program. Yardley served as Associate Administrator for Manned Space Flight, a post in which he led the Apollo-Soyuz Spacelab and was responsible for development and acquisition of the Space Shuttle. In 1981, he returned to private industry in St. Louis, Missouri following the first successful Space Shuttle mission to serve as president of the former McDonnell Douglas Aeronautics. He was awarded NASA's Public Service Medal for his outstanding contributions to the http://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedia/M/Mercury_Project.html and http://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedia/G/Gemini_Project.html Programs in 1963 and 1966.
