-If ANY check purchase results in non-payment to my client, legal documentation will be filed with the Clayton Police and the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney for investigation; subsequent arrest warrants may be issued by the police of the host municipality.

You are going to love this house!  It is a three-story on the border of Clayton and University City.  The items for sale range from antiques to newer IKEA and Pottery Barn.  

Please keep in mind:

-There is NO PARKING on Jackson; please park on Westmoreland.

-We do not accept checks from people we do not know, so please bring cash OR be prepared to charge your purchase but a fee does apply.

-And, if you purchase a large item, you will need to bring moving help.

Foyer: Welcome to this wonderful 3-story home in Clayton! The large entryway includes an antique drum table, gorgeous rug, tall case clock, corner cabinet, and newer lamp. Closer photos follow.Foyer: The 36" round antique drum table on casters has an embossed leather top and one real double drawer. The other three "drawers" do not open. Foyer: The deep red colors in this rug (6' 6" x 10" 3") dominant the overall pattern. A closer photo of one corner follows.Foyer: Here is one corner of the rug. Each photo description also tells you what room the item is in.Foyer: The antique corner chest displays a contemporary metal lamp. Closer photos follow.Foyer: The antique corner chest will fool you . . . it does NOT have three drawers! It is actually a door that opens over one lower drawer, as shown in the next photo. The under-shelf is real though!Foyer: The antique chest door and one drawer are now open to reveal storage space. Photos of the design follow. Foyer: The inlay on each side of the corner chest includes string banding around bellflowers. Foyer: The top of the corner chest also has string inlay.Foyer: The newer lamp has metal rods in a cylinder design.Foyer: A pair of separately priced Baroque "thrones" flank the fireplace. Closer photos follow.Foyer: This is one of the two separately priced Baroque-style chairs. They look like small thrones. Notice the turned knob finials, twisted stiles and twisted front legs. Each antique Baroque armchair is carved walnut with raised velvet upholstery. The next photo provides a side view.Foyer: This is a view of the side of the antique Baroque armchair. Foyer: The antique English walnut tall case clock (circa 1820) is 7' tall. Closer photos follow.Foyer: The top of the clock has inlay on its scroll bonnet.Foyer: The hood of the tall case clock has a metal dial face with a painted floral bouquet at the top and different scenes in each corner. Notice the large Roman numerals and the smaller Arabic numerals used in the second hand and calendar dials.Foyer: Notice the Gothic screen design on the antique tall case clock's side. The screen allows the bells to be heard.Foyer: These are the heavy weights that belong in the trunk of the antique tall case clock. An antique pendulum (lead covered brass) is nearby. Living Room: An overview of this room shows a large Afghan rug, antique side tables, lamps, a cocktail table, and two club chairs! Closer photos follow.Living Room: This is one of two separately priced club chairs in a "Calypso Blue Turbo Charge" upholstery. Each chair has "border French seam feather lux" seat and back cushions. There is also a Waterfall skirt with a 3" celadon tape border at the bottom of the skirt. Each chair is eight-way hand tied. More photos of the chair follow.Living Room: This is a side view of the club chair previously shown. Living Room: The club chair's back shows a "barrel" design. Notice the banding at the bottom.Living Room: The quality JOHN-RICHARD campaign style coffee table with faux alligator top measures 49" x 29" x 20" tall. A closer photo of the top follows.Living Room: The JOHN-RICHARD campaign-style table has a faux alligator top.Living Room: The label on the table's underside is shown: John-Richard Fine Furniture.Living Room: This is one of a PAIR of 30" tall English-style small side or lamp tables. Each has a scalloped raised edge, one drawer, bobbin-style legs, and an under-shelf. It is attributed to the "Jonathan Charles" design. Notice the bobbin-style legs.Living Room: This is one of a PAIR of quality rectangular porcelain lamps in the "Blue Willow" pattern. Each lamp is 33" tall and has a brass base with creamy white shade.Living Room: This Afghan rug has subtle colors of teal and terracotta in its border and in the cream field. It measures 12' x 14.' The next photo shows a corner of the rug.Living Room: You can now better see the colors on one corner of the Afghan rug.Living Room: This contemporary abstract print has a 4" wooden fame. Its total measurements are: 24" wide x 48" tall.Living Room: Two separately priced antique French Louis XV-style armchairs have raised velvet upholstery on the front but black "leather" upholstery on the back. They flank an oval table with one drawer and an under-shelf as well as a vintage brass horn lamp with black paper shade. Closer photos of the chairs follow.Living Room: This is one of the two separately priced antique French Louis XV-style armchairs. The fabric is a raised velvet animal print. The next photo shows the back of the chair.Living Room: The back of the antique Louis XV-style armchair has black "leather" upholstery rather than the animal print that is on the front.Living Room: This newer "window panel" mirror measures 20” x 48.”Dining Room: A classic KARGES dining room table and chairs are shown WITHOUT its three 20" leaves and only six of its ten chairs. As shown, the table measures 47" x 71" x 29-1/2" tall. The next photo shows the table with all three leaves inserted.Dining Room: The KARGES table is now shown with all ten chairs and its three 20" leaves inserted. It now measures 10' 11" x 47" x 29-1/2" tall. The table and ten chairs are priced as a set, separate from the KARGES sideboard and display cabinet.Dining Room: You can now see the KARGES table with all three leaves and without any chairs. Notice the wide banding that follows the design of the table top.Dining Room: The KARGES table has a carved apron and carved legs.Dining Room: The KARGES armchair is one of two. The upholstery coordinates with the floral pattern upholstery on the eight side chairs. Notice the multiple borders that frame the field. Dinng Room: A pair of black column lamps with black shades are displayed on a KARGES sideboard. Closer photos follow.Dining Room: This is a closer look at one of the pair of heavy black column lamps with black paper shades. Dining Room: The KARGES sideboard in the French Louis XVI style is walnut and burlwood. It has three drawers over three doors [with adjustable interior shelves].
