Black Derby Estate Sales LLC is not responsible for any accidents, liabilities, or claims.
Black Derby Estate Sales reserves the right to Limit Entry when deemed necessary.
Photos do not reflect location of items at sale. Statements made day of sale take precedence over printed advertisements.
Please be kind to neighbors and community by not blocking driveways and following the parking signs.
Sale will be held Rain or Shine but closed if Blue Springs R-4 is closed due to inclement weather.

Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, we accept cash, credit and debit cards without a minimum.
Q: Do you do any pre-sales or pre-views before the official opening day?
A: No we do not. We’re not fond of the idea of only letting a select few in a sale early to pick it over. We also do not recognize markers. Those coming out early and standing in line should always be the first in the door.
Q: How do you sell larger items like cars?
A: We have a Gallery on our website. We do pre-sale some larger items such as automobiles, boats, ATVs, and campers. Difficult items to sell in a 3-day sale will also be listed on our Gallery. Dining room sets, original art work, pianos and items selling for $500 or more.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: We offer a same-day refund to customers with a receipt for electronics or motorized items that they have purchased and found to be in a non-working condition.
Q: If I purchase a large item, how do I handle the pick-up?
A: Black Derby does not take the responsibility of loading large items. You will be responsible for bringing help to carry and load these items. If you need to come back to get your item, we will give you a receipt so you can pick up the item anytime during the sale's open hours. Depending on our schedule, sometimes we can prearrange a time for a Monday or Tuesday pick-up after the sale as well. We do not deliver items.
Q: How does the bidding process work?
A: Black Derby accepts bids of 51% or more on items priced at $100 or above. Day 1 and 2 there will be forms available for you to fill out for bidding on an item. If you don't see the form ask the cashier. Place bid sheet in the bid box. The bid box will be unlocked on Friday evening of each sale and calls will be made to the winning bidders. You will be responsible for picking up bids you have won by 10 am on Saturday. Black Derby will hold items with a credit card number throughout the day on Saturday if you can not arrive by 10 am.
Q: When do items get marked down at your sales?
A: Unless otherwise stated in our advertising our items are priced as follows:
Thursday - Full Price
Friday - 25% Off
Saturday - 50% Off
We always suggest putting a bid on an item you are really interested in rather than wait and see if it is available on the last day.
