Pence Auction is proud to announce the auction of the Scott Dalzell collection. The only word that could be used to describe Scott is that he was a true connoisseur. He started collecting antiques at the age of twelve by selling greeting cards to the local ladies of his community and in turn, they taught him about antiques. That was the beginning of his antique addiction. He loved French history and the Napoleonic era, so French antiques became his passion. His philosophy was to keep an item only long enough to find a better example. Thus, he became an antique show exhibitor, mainly to have the opportunity to get the first look at what the other dealers had to offer.

We will sell nearly 700 items over the two days which took Scott 65 years to accumulate. This curated collection will rank as one of the best ever offered in the Midwest. As always, all items will sell to the highest bidder without reserve. A complete catalog with photos will be available at www.penceauction.com.

Preview will be Wednesday, August 3^,2022 – 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. and Thursday morning beginning at 10:00 am.
