Bids are taken all day, on the first day of every sale and end when Saturday's sale ends . You can also, bid online via proqfineart@gmail.com. Always bid if you're uncertain about the price on the first day. Customers are so happy to receive a call Saturday evening noting they got the bid. Often I hear a scream of joy!

Very interesting family business.
The family business began in 1925 in Kansas City by a great aunt Tena Mae Dowd, aunt to the current estate sale owners. Then their grandparents opened another Green Parrot restaurant next door to our sale, in October 1938 {featured picture}. Their parents and the kids worked and ran this local business for many years. Another aunt named Vira opened a 3rd Green Parrot restaurant, in Houston in 1952.
Wonderful family business in 3 locations! I recall the restaurant, in Kirkwood, which was nearby my grandmothers home, also in Kirkwood.....ah....memories.....
Some of the paintings and all of the kitchen supplies (pics coming soon) are from The Green Parrot restaurant/Kirkwood.
