Featuring items of the late Alta Foster Estate, Hardin, Mo and Sue McGraw, Lexington

Sue McGraw, lifelong collector and former proprietor of Missouri River Antiques, is downsizing after moving to senior housing. This sale features antique furniture, jewelry, buttons, smalls, household appliances, Christmas, Easter and 4th of July holiday decorations, both oil and electric lamps, crocks, and a huge oak column. Also included are sheet music, art prints, rug hooking tools, patterns and materials, wool strips and yarn.

Furniture includes tables and chairs, beds, chests, and a drop leaf table. Household items including pots and pans, new 4 cup Mr. Coffee, a juicer, indoor grill, and crock pots.

Alta Foster studied at the KC Art Institute and taught art at Hardin Central School and Stet School. Items include original oil paintings, sketches and sculptures in a variety of mediums. Also included are thesis writings, scrapbooks and poems.

Sale located on first floor of home, front porch, back yard and garage. Enter through the front door on Bloom Street and exit through the back door, please. Park in alley only for loading furniture.
