Dear Friends,

For the last three weeks, 6 to 8 of us have been working daily on an upcoming estate sale in Olivette, and it is not quite ready yet. It is a big house and several outdoor areas. Unfortunately, the AC has gone out in the east wing of the house causing us to delay the sale until it is a little cooler. Another problem is parking. We have parking on the grass and driveway for about 15 cars at a time. We are thinking of shuttling from our parking lot at the storefront.

It is worth the wait! Among the treasures: Native American artifacts (including Navajo rugs); Turquoise; Hundreds of pieces of jewelry; Tons of books (some rare/old, trains, the Old West, St. Louis, art, history, children’s); Kitchenware; Antique bottles; Train memorabilia (no trains); Tools; Stoneware; Antiques from three generations; Toys; Artwork; Outdoor furniture, tools, grill.

Right after Labor Day, we are hoping to begin this sale and praying for cooler weather. Any great suggestion is appreciated.

NOTE: The storefront is still open, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9am-4pm., 9495 Olive Blvd., in Olivette. Furniture (lovely side tables, round dining table, glass-top tables, much more), lamps (vintage, brass, ceramic, table, floor, swag, chandelier; large variety), artwork (antique, vintage, modern; oil, wood cut, watercolor, lithograph, print), some beautiful clocks still available (table, wall, grandfather; some for parts only), records (78s, 45s, 33s). Children’s toys, puzzles, games, dolls, furniture (vintage and newer). Memorabilia: McDonnell Douglas (planes, books, paper items), sports (Cardinals, Cincinnati). Costume jewelry (especially earrings, pierced/clip).

Thanks,

Carolyn and “Crew”
