Description & Details
AN AMAZING EVENT - RED X opened in 1948 and has been an iconic landmark in Kansas City ever since. The original founder, Ed Young, was a true collector and was always searching for the rare and unique items to decorate the store. There wasn't a month that he missed the old Kansas City flea market and his car never left without being packed with treasures. At one time Ed had the biggest bell collection in the United States. However, now that Red X has moved to their new location and cannot take everything, we will sell thousands of items at public auction to the highest bidder. Here is a chance to purchase items in the two day auction that had taken 75 years to accumulate.
DAY TWO - Will be selling the remarkable bell collection that has enhanced RED X for years plus a one of kind guest cabin washstand from the Olympic cruiseliner (the sister ship of the Titanic). This rare washstand was loaned to Chicago's Museum of Natural Science for the Titanic exhibition in 2000. Additionally, we will be selling the massive dining set from the R.A. Long mansion. Rounding out Day 2 will be many bronze statues of all sizes, railroad memorabilia, Asian antiques, African artifacts and wide array of antiques.
THIS WILL BE AN ONCE IN THE LIFETIME AUCTION FOR KANSAS CITY
